Need the Old Recliner Gone From a Hinesville Home?
Recliner Removal in Hinesville This Week — Call or Text
A recliner call usually starts one of two ways. A new chair is on the way and the old one has nowhere to go, or a family is clearing a parent’s house and the recliner was the seat that got the most use.
Either way, you don’t lift it. Powered recliners are heavier than they look, so please do not hurt yourself trying to get one outside before we arrive.
What we haul
Recliners we take
- Manual lever recliners and rocker recliners
- Power and dual-motor recliners
- Power-lift chairs
- Wall-hugger and glider recliners
- Reclining sofas and sectionals
- Worn, torn, stained or pet-damaged chairs
What we handle
How a recliner comes out
Most recliners leave whole, the way they came in. When a hallway or a stair turn is too tight, the back comes off at clips or screws hidden under the upholstery, and the seat and the back ride separately on the dolly.
We bring the right tools and we know which brand uses which mechanism, La-Z-Boy included. The customer doesn’t need to figure it out.
An empty power-lift chair can run well over a hundred pounds, so stairs get extra hands.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

Hinesville
Recliners in older homes and family houses
Hinesville isn’t only new arrivals. Longtime Liberty County families live in older homes here, next to the newer subdivisions, and estate cleanouts are part of the regular work. When one of those houses is cleared, the recliner is sometimes the chair somebody sat in every evening for decades, and it gets carried out with the same care as everything else the family is letting go.
Head east toward Midway and it gets more rural, with older properties, larger lots and homes set farther back off the main roads. A chair coming out of a house out past Midway is planned into the route like any other, and the drive is in the price we quote before anything is loaded.
Power chairs are simple on our end. We unplug the chair from the wall and coil the cord, and the motor, wiring and controller stay inside and ride out with it as one unit.
Pricing
What changes the price
Recliner pricing scales with type, weight, and access. A manual chair in a ground-floor den is the light end; a power-lift chair from an upstairs bedroom is the heavy end. Multi-piece living-room jobs cost less per piece.
Out toward the edges of the county, the drive is part of the number from the beginning, never something added at the end.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

After the pickup
Where it goes
A recliner in good shape with a working mechanism may be offered for donation. The donation center decides, and condition matters.
Pet-damaged, heavily worn, motor-failed, or smoke-soaked recliners go to disposal, because nothing more responsible is left for them.
In a parent’s house, anything personal or valuable that turns up is brought to the family, not decided by the crew.
