What we haul

From a single couch to a whole-house cleanout, we take the big stuff, the awkward stuff, and the “I don’t even know what this is anymore” stuff.

How it works — four steps, no surprises

  1. Tell us what you have.

Send a quick request online, or call us. Photos help us quote exactly, but aren’t required.

  2. Get a price before we arrive.

We email or call you back with a firm price range based on what you described. No vague “we’ll see when we get there.”

  3. We show up, show the final price, and get to work.

Our crew inspects the load in person, confirms the final price in writing, and loads everything onto the truck. If the price changes, you approve it before we lift a thing.

  4. We sweep, we leave, we donate or recycle.

We leave your space cleaner than we found it. Usable items go to Habitat for Humanity ReStore Golden Isles and Goodwill. The rest is sorted for recycling or responsible disposal.

No hidden fees. No dump-run surprises. No “it’s extra to take it to the truck.”

Honest pricing

What it costs — one real number, before anything goes on the truck.

You’ve probably noticed most junk removal sites have a big pricing chart. We don’t, and that’s on purpose. The number on those charts is set low enough to get a truck in your driveway. Then the crew looks at your actual stuff and the real price shows up — right at the moment when it’s hardest to say no.

We’d rather do it the old-fashioned way. Send us a few pictures or let us come take a look. We price what’s actually in front of us — how much room it takes on the truck, what it takes to get it out of where it’s sitting, what the access looks like, and what it costs to dispose of properly.

Then you get one real number, confirmed before the first item is loaded. Not a “starting at.” Not a teaser that doubles in your driveway.

We may not always be the cheapest quote you hear. If you don’t like the price, tell us no — no pressure, no hard feelings.

How we get to the number

  1. You show us what you’ve got

A few pictures or a walkthrough. You don’t have to inventory every box — just tell us what you’re dealing with and we’ll ask the rest.

  2. We price the actual items

Volume, the labor to get it out, the access, and what it costs to dispose of properly. Four things, looked at honestly.

  3. You get the number before we load

Confirmed up front. If the job turns out materially different from what was described, we talk about it before doing the work.

  4. You’re free to say no

No charge for the look, no pressure to book. We’d rather shake your hand and head down the road.

Local authority

We work these roads every day.

Locally owned. Serving the Golden Isles. Born and raised on the Georgia coast.

Golden Isles Junk Removal was founded in Brunswick by people who grew up here. That’s not a tagline — it’s the reason the work is different.

When you call us, you’re not routed through a national call center. You reach a local dispatcher who knows the difference between the Torras Causeway and the Sidney Lanier Bridge, who understands why a pickup on Sea Island needs HOA approval in advance, and who has a hurricane plan for Jekyll — because hurricanes on Jekyll are a real thing.

We run real trucks out of Brunswick. We route them across Glynn, McIntosh, and Camden counties. We’ve hauled oyster-damaged decks out of St. Simons backyards after summer storms, cleared seven decades of accumulated belongings from a Darien farmhouse for an estate attorney, and pulled a thousand pounds of drywall from a Frederica Road renovation on two-day notice.

We know Historic Old Town Brunswick — where the live oaks are old and the parking is tight. We know Pier Village on St. Simons, where the service lanes behind the shops are the only way to get a truck close. We know Sea Palms and East Beach — where the HOA rules matter and the gates need advance notice. We know the Cloister side of Sea Island, where discretion is the job.

We donate usable furniture to Habitat for Humanity ReStore Golden Isles on Cypress Mill Road. We recycle appliances through licensed partners. We take construction debris to the Broadhurst Landfill in Wayne County. When we say “eco-friendly disposal,” we mean we actually sort what comes off the truck.

If you’re calling from Oak Grove Island, Dock Junction, Country Club Estates, Blythe Island, Redfern Village, Frederica, or Demere — we know the neighborhood. We know where the service entrances are. We know which gates need a call ahead. That’s what “local” is supposed to mean.
