Coffee tables are the small stuff of the living room — the piece in front of the couch, the end table beside the recliner, the little side table that holds a lamp. None of it is heavy the way a sleeper sofa is heavy, and most of it walks out the door in a single trip without much fuss.
The one thing worth slowing down for is the top. Glass-top and stone-top tables are the exception to the “light and quick” rule. A pane of tempered glass is fragile until it isn’t, and a slab of marble or granite weighs more than the rest of the table combined. We handle those two materials differently than we handle a solid wood top, and we’d rather take the extra minute than sweep up a shattered tabletop in your living room.
Coffee tables rarely travel alone. By the time somebody is clearing the table in front of the couch, the couch is usually going too, along with the end tables, a lamp or two, and whatever else has stopped earning its place in the room. We’d rather take the whole picture in one trip than make you book four small jobs.

How we work
How we actually handle it.
Most of these tables are a one-person, one-trip carry. A wood or laminate coffee table goes out the door in the shape it came in, and an end table is light enough that the doorway is never the problem. This is about as straightforward as a furniture job gets.
The glass-top tables are where we pay attention. Tempered glass holds up fine until it catches an edge or a corner, and then it goes all at once. We keep the top flat, carry it separate from the base when the design allows, and we don’t set it down anywhere it can slide. If a glass top is already cracked when we arrive, tell us on the call - we’ll bring what we need to move it safely rather than discover the damage in your hallway.
Stone-top and marble-top tables are the other handling concern, and it’s a weight problem rather than a fragility one. A small marble top can outweigh the entire wooden frame beneath it. We’ll separate the top from the base when it lifts off and carry the two pieces independently, which is easier on the table, the floor, and our backs.

Coffee tables and end tables sit at the light, quick end of what we haul. On their own they’re one of the smaller jobs we run, and the price reflects that - this is not a sleeper sofa, and we don’t pretend it is.
Where the math really works in your favor is when the table goes out as part of a larger living-room clear. Adding a coffee table and a pair of end tables to a load that’s already taking the couch costs far less than booking each piece on its own.
