We price by the tier your items fill, starting at $95–$150 for a 1/8 truck; a single item is quoted from a photo so we can confirm the tier before anything is loaded. The number you agree to is the number you pay, and it includes carry-out, the disposal fee and cleanup.

A pedestal sink already disconnected and sitting free is quick. A double vanity with a stone top, caulked to a tile wall on a second floor, is a genuine removal with a stair carry attached. Cast iron adds crew rather than volume.
Almost nobody removes only a sink. If the toilet, tub, tile, or countertops are going in the same project, tell us and we will price the visit as a whole rather than fixture by fixture.

The thing that catches people out with sinks is cast iron. An enamelled cast-iron kitchen sink looks like any other sink and weighs well over a hundred pounds, and a cast-iron pedestal basin is worse because the weight is up high and the pedestal is doing nothing to help you. People try to lift one alone, discover the problem halfway, and either drop it or hurt themselves. If yours is old and it is heavy in a way that feels wrong, tell us — that can mean extra hands, and it changes how we plan the carry, not whether we take it.
Vanities are a different problem: they are attached. A bathroom vanity is screwed to the wall studs at the back rail, usually caulked to the wall and often to the floor, and the countertop is either integral or siliconed down hard. Getting one out is not lifting a cabinet — it is cutting the caulk line, backing out the screws, and separating the top from the base without taking a chunk of drywall with it. On older Brunswick and downtown houses the wall behind is frequently plaster rather than board, which is worth knowing before anybody starts prying.

How we work
Vanity Swaps in Brunswick Bathroom Remodels
If a plumber has already been through, we are just removing the fixture.
Drop-in and undermount kitchen sinks come out of the countertop rather than off the wall. Undermounts are held with clips and a heavy bead of adhesive under the stone, so they come free with the counter or after the adhesive is cut. If the countertop is going too, it is usually easier to take them together.
Vanities are cut loose before they are lifted. The caulk line at the wall and floor gets scored, the screws come out of the back rail, and the top separates from the base where it can. Doing that carefully is the difference between a clean removal and a repair job for whoever comes next.
Cast iron is heavy, and that can mean extra hands. So is a solid vanity with a stone top still attached, which is why we separate the top first when the design allows.
Older houses get more care. Plaster walls and original tile do not forgive prying, and we would rather take an extra ten minutes than hand you a hole to patch.
In an older in-town house in New Town, or a home in Arco, a vanity swap is often part of a bathroom getting redone top to bottom, so the sink rarely leaves alone. The toilet, an old medicine cabinet and a stack of floor tile can all ride on the same truck. Inside, the vanity gets cut loose with care because an older house deserves it. Outside, the carry and where the truck can sit set the time more than the vanity does.
