Who Hauls Off Backyard Junk in Darien?
Call or Text for the Next Backyard Cleanout Opening in Darien
Yes, we’ll take the whole pile. Outside, nothing gets put away — it gets set down: by the fence, behind the shed, under the porch. On a McIntosh County property that habit can add up to a couple of decades of grills that quit, trampoline rings sinking into the grass and boards saved for a project that never came. We carry it out and haul it off.
What we haul
What we clear out of the yard
- Patio and porch furniture, cushions and umbrellas
- Grills, smokers and old outdoor refrigerators
- Trampolines, swing sets and playsets, taken apart on site
- Dog kennels, runs and pens
- Scrap metal, old fencing, rolled wire and metal frames
- Lumber piles, pallets and leftover project material
- Planters, fire pit rings and yard decor
- Branch piles mixed in with the junk
- A falling-down shed or fence section, handled as light demolition
What we handle
What we take care of in the yard
Nothing has to be dragged to the road. We walk it out from the back corner, through the gate or around the side of the house. Anything rusted together or half-sunk in the grass gets worked loose, and a swing set or trampoline comes apart just enough to carry.
If part of the job is a shed, a fence run or a small deck, that’s light demolition, and it can come down on the same visit. For anything unusual, send us a few photos and tell us where it is, and we’ll tell you what it takes.

Darien
Backyard cleanouts around Darien
A Darien backyard is often more ground than a town lot, and the junk spreads out to match: a fence line that gave up a couple of storms ago, a shed nobody has opened in years, a heap of boards and wire at the far edge of the property. After a rough hurricane season, outbuildings can lose a lot in one night, and the yard is where the pieces land.
Rural yards decide how the work goes. The truck may have to stop well short of the pile — forty feet from an outbuilding is ordinary — and the crew carries the rest by hand. Ground stays soft after rain, so smaller equipment comes along when the drive is too tight or too wet for the big truck.
The yard might be behind a home over in Ashantilly or on a property up in Belleville toward the top of the county. Wide photos of the pile and of the way in from the road tell us most of what the job takes.
Backyard work seldom travels alone out here. A storm-battered shed, the garage or a pile of branch debris can ride the same trip, so one drive up from Brunswick covers the whole property at once.
After the pickup
Where it goes
Grill bodies, frames, old swing sets and fencing usually go to SA Recycling in Brunswick as scrap metal.
An old outdoor refrigerator goes to SA Recycling as well, where the refrigerant is recovered properly.
Solid outdoor furniture may be offered to HART in McIntosh County or another organization we work with. They decide what they accept, and after a few years outside most of it is past that point.
Brush, rotten boards and the rest are sorted by material, and each part of the load goes where it belongs.
Pricing
What changes the price
How much of the truck it fills. Wet lumber and a stack of plastic chairs take up very different room, so the mix counts as much as the number of pieces.
How far it has to travel to the truck. A pile at the end of a long rural drive, past soft ground, takes more carrying than one beside the driveway, and any demolition is priced in with the rest of the project.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
