Old Push Mower Sitting in a Darien Shed?
Call or Text for the Next Lawn Mower Removal Opening in Darien
Yes, whatever shape it’s in. Most of the mowers we get called about didn’t die so much as get replaced — a new one came home, or a lawn service took over the yard — and the old one has been parked at the back of the shed ever since, with a couple of seasons of old gas still in it.
What we haul
Mowers we take
- Gas push mowers
- Self-propelled mowers

- Reel mowers with no engine at all

Mowers on rural McIntosh County property
Out here the mower is rarely the only thing in the shed. A family finally dealing with a parent’s place, or an inherited property that’s sat for years, opens a shed nobody has been inside since the nineties, and the mower is in there with the trimmers, the tiller, the wheelbarrow and a couple of decades of everything else. The whole shed can go in one pass, at the family’s pace when it’s part of a bigger cleanout.
That shed might be at the back of a rural property out by Harris Neck, or behind a house just off Highway 17. A mower whose wheels won’t turn gets carried, not dragged, and when the truck can’t get close — a long drive, a yard gone soft after rain — that carry is part of the plan from the start.
A single mower usually rides along with other work on a planned Darien day instead of getting a special trip, which is how the half-hour drive from Brunswick stays our problem to plan rather than yours to pay for.
What we handle
What we take care of
Old gas in the tank or a battery still on a cordless mower doesn’t hold anything up. Mention it with your photos — tell us what kind of battery it is, or just snap a picture of it — and if anything special is needed, we’ll sort it out with you when we quote.
We walk it out if it rolls and carry it if it doesn’t, whether it’s in a garage at the same level as the drive, a shed at the back of the lot or a storage room under a raised house.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
Pricing
What changes the price
How many mowers, how heavy, and how far we carry them. One push mower is a small part of a load. A self-propelled or commercial walk-behind weighs more, and a shed full of mowers and yard tools is priced from what’s actually in it.
On a rural property the carry counts for more: a mower that won’t roll, coming out of a shed across a soft yard, is more work than one sitting by the garage door.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
After the pickup
Where it goes
A mower that has sat for years is still mostly metal, and that metal usually goes to scrap at SA Recycling in Brunswick.
Plastic shrouds, grass bags and broken handles go to disposal; on a McIntosh load, what each piece is made of decides where it goes.
A mower that still runs can be offered to donation outlets such as HART in McIntosh County, but they decide what they accept, and condition matters.
