Ready to Get Your Garage Back in Darien?
Call or Text for the Next Garage Cleanout Opening in Darien
We empty garages, and you do not have to apologize to us for yours. Garage cleanouts are the job people put off the longest, and in Darien the garage is rarely the only building holding things: there’s often a shed, a carport or a barn on the same property that has been filling up just as long.
What we haul
What comes out of a garage
- Boxes and totes from moves long past
- Old furniture parked in the garage
- Broken or unused exercise equipment
- Mowers, trimmers and yard tools
- Tools, tool chests and workbenches
- Bicycles, fishing gear and camping gear
- Holiday decorations and seasonal stuff
- Shed and attic overflow on the same trip

Garage cleanouts around Darien
A garage cleanout here is often the first step in dealing with a whole property. The garage leads to the shed, the shed leads to the barn, and before long the family is looking at a job that runs in passes over a couple of weeks. That’s a good way to do it. A single garage or shed can be a day, and once we’ve seen photos we’ll tell you straight what your timeline looks like.
That could be a garage in Ardick or one off Highway 99 in Ridgeville (The Ridge). Either way the work is sort-as-you-go: everything comes out into the driveway in three zones — keep, donate, go — you direct the traffic, and we do the carrying.
Spring and fall are the natural windows for the bigger garage and outbuilding jobs out here, when the weather cooperates and family schedules line up. We keep time open for those stretches.
What we handle
How we work through it
Pre-sorting is not required. Everything comes out, you decide what stays, and the rest goes on the truck. If something turns up mid-job that looks like it might matter — photos, papers, a good tool — we stop and ask rather than guess.
The keep pile goes back into the garage neatly, and the floor gets swept. Attics are the same job in a harder room and sheds follow the same approach, so all three can be scoped on one visit.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
Pricing
What changes the price
Volume and time on site are the real drivers: how full the garage actually is and how long the sort takes. Sort time is included in the price, so deciding to keep a few more boxes halfway through doesn’t add a line item.
On a bigger property, the garage, shed and barn can be priced in stages, and a long carry from an outbuilding to the truck is part of that number from the start.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
After the pickup
Where it goes
Working tools and furniture in good shape can be offered to HART in McIntosh County or another organization we work with; they decide what they accept, and condition matters.
Old TVs and electronics from a McIntosh garage go to a place like Broadhurst in Wayne County, since the county facility doesn’t accept them.
Metal — a rusted bike frame, a dead mower deck, bent shelving — is usually recycled as scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick, and an old garage fridge or freezer goes through the appropriate appliance and refrigerant recycling channel.
The rest goes where its material sends it, with the landfill last.
