Have a Dead Side-by-Side Sitting in a Darien Barn or Field?

Yes. Out here a side-by-side is usually a work machine, and it tends to stop where it last worked: at the back of an equipment shed, along a fence line, or out in a field with grass grown up through the bed. A dead one is far too heavy to push, so it comes onto the truck by winch.

Side-by-side removal on rural McIntosh County land

Out here a side-by-side tends to live on acreage, not in a garage. One might be parked in an outbuilding on a property out in Jones or behind a barn somewhere off Highway 17. Either way, the plan starts with the ground between the machine and the truck.

Soft ground after rain matters a lot with a UTV, because a seized machine has to be winched across it. If the field has a wet spot or the gate is narrow, tell us on the call and we’ll plan around it; when the drive is too tight for the bigger truck, we bring smaller equipment.

Spring and fall are when a lot of families take on the barn and the back acreage. A side-by-side can go out with the rest of that cleanout — the old riding mower, a trailer with flat tires, a fence line’s worth of wire and posts.

What we handle

What we work out before we come

Your photos answer three questions for us: does it roll, how close can a truck get, and what is the ground like in between. That tells us whether it’s a quick load or a winch job and what equipment to bring.

A title in a drawer somewhere, fuel in the tank, a battery that died years ago — just mention it when you send the pictures and we’ll work it out with you at the quote.

Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

Pricing

What changes the price on a side-by-side

A side-by-side takes real room on the truck, so it lands higher in the tiers than a four-wheeler. After that it comes down to whether the wheels turn and how much soft ground sits between the machine and the truck.

The plow, the sprayer, spare tires and the parts pile beside it ride in the same load at the same price.

Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

After the pickup

Where it goes

The frame, cage and running gear usually go to scrap at SA Recycling in Brunswick.

Plastic body panels, seats and other parts that aren’t metal go to disposal. The material sets the destination.
