Need a Dead Side-by-Side Hauled Off St. Simons Island?
Same-Day Side-by-Side & UTV Removal on St. Simons Often Available — Call or Text
Yes. A side-by-side is not a big four-wheeler: it has a cage, a bed and a good deal more weight, and a dead one doesn’t move by hand at all. When the wheels won’t roll, it comes onto the truck by winch, planned from your photos.
What we handle
How we get it out
Three things in the pictures decide the plan: whether the wheels turn, how close a truck can get, and how firm the ground is between the two. If brush has grown up around it, clearing that is our side of the job.
Anything unusual about it, like fuel still aboard or a title nobody can find, can go in the same message as the photos, and we’ll settle it with you at the quote.
A plow blade, a cargo box, spare wheels and the parts stacked next to it ride along in the same load.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
St. Simons Island
Side-by-sides on the island
Up Sea Island Road and toward the north end the properties are larger and the driveways longer, and a UTV that did the yard work tends to quit wherever the work was. What matters is the stretch between the machine and the spot a trailer can sit; on softer ground a winch pull is planned, not improvised. Behind a gate, we coordinate entry with whoever opens it.
On a big lot, trailer placement is half the job. Where it sits decides how far the winch has to pull and whether anyone else on the street can still get by, so we position it on purpose rather than wherever is quickest for us.
The rig that suits a quiet street in March is not the one for a crowded block in July. Near the beach and the Village we read the street before we commit, and a side-by-side may come out on a smaller setup with an extra pair of hands.
Some of these were bought for trail riding and have sat since the last trip; others hauled mulch and tools around the property for years. Same question either way: does it roll, and what’s between it and the road.

After the pickup
Where it goes
The right destination depends on what’s left of the machine, and we work that out; the trip itself goes directly off the island to Brunswick.
Steel is most of a side-by-side — cage, frame, axles — and it typically ends up recycled as scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick.
Body panels, seats and other plastic parts are handled according to the material.
Pricing
What changes the price
Size first: a UTV fills a good share of the truck, more than any quad. Then the effort — a rolling machine by the driveway versus a seized one winched across a soft lawn — and the causeway drive, which is counted from the start.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
