Broken Dresser That Isn’t Worth Moving From Kingsland?
Dresser Removal in Kingsland This Week — Call or Text
Yes, and nobody has to empty the drawers. Tell us they’re full and it gets priced in; the drawers come out and ride separately from the body.
A broken dresser is one of the first things a family sets aside when it starts deciding what is worth moving. Send us a picture and tell us which room it’s in, and we’ll tell you what it takes.
What we haul
What goes with it
- Dressers, chests of drawers and highboys
- Nightstands and headboards from the same set
- Vanities and makeup tables
- Dressers with broken drawers or missing hardware
- Water-damaged or swollen particle-board pieces

When the dresser isn’t making the trip
Here the dresser question usually comes up when something is changing: orders and a moving date, a lease running out, a rental turning over between tenants. The chest of drawers that wobbles, or the one that never really fit the bedroom, is not getting loaded onto that truck, and Kingsland keeps time by those dates more than by the calendar.
If the dresser is sitting in a storage unit that never got emptied before the last move, the unit can be cleared on the same trip. We handle the full clear-out and figure out where each thing inside should go.
A newer home off Laurel Island Parkway and a house a turn off Highway 40 get the same plan: drawers out, the mirror off when it’s headed for disposal, and the carry worked out around the stairs. The drive down from Brunswick is already counted in the number you hear.
What we handle
How the dresser comes out
Pulling the drawers first lightens the body and keeps one from sliding open on the way down.
Bedroom dressers usually live upstairs, and the carry-down is the slowest part of the work. We bring straps and the right dolly when the call mentions a second floor, and a tall chest sometimes goes down on its end at a tight turn rather than upright.
Most mirrors attach at the back with a single screw. It comes off before the carry so the glass can’t break against a stair rail.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
Pricing
What changes the price
Dresser pricing scales with size, material, and access. A small chest from a ground-floor apartment is light work; solid wood with a mirror coming down from an upstairs bedroom is real weight.
Multi-piece bedroom-set jobs (dresser plus nightstands plus headboard plus mattress) cost less per piece than single-item pickups, and anything else from the same house can ride on the same quote.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
After the pickup
Where it goes
A solid wood dresser in good shape is one of the more genuinely reusable things we pick up, so one in that condition gets a real look for a second home.
Donation centers decide what they accept, and condition matters. Broken drawers, swollen particle board and water damage go to disposal instead.
If your family would rather donate the dresser itself before the move, that’s entirely your call.
