Heavy Old Dresser to Get Out of the House in St. Marys?

Dresser Removal in St. Marys This Week — Call or Text

Yes, we take dressers, mirror and all, and you don’t have to empty them. If the clothes inside are going too, leave them; we pull each drawer and carry it on its own, and the contents go on the same trip.

A picture of the dresser and a word about which floor it’s on is plenty for a firm price.

St. Marys

A dresser in an older house

An older house in downtown St. Marys is a different carry from a newer subdivision. Before anybody lifts, we work out where the truck can sit on a tighter property, how a tall chest clears a narrow doorway, and how it crosses the older floors on the way out. Those jobs run a little longer, and the houses deserve it.

Plenty of dressers leave when a household gets smaller. A parent is moving somewhere with less room, or a longtime owner decides the set that fit the big bedroom won’t fit the next one. That work goes at the family’s pace, and we ask what’s staying and what’s going before anything moves.

On a move, the broken dresser is often one of the first things a family decides isn’t worth the space on the truck. Tell us the date you have to be out, and we plan to it.

What we handle

How a dresser comes out

Drawers come out before the carry, always. Without them the frame is far lighter, and nothing slides open halfway down a staircase.

When the dresser is headed for disposal, the mirror comes off first, usually one screw at the back, so it can’t crack on a stair turn. If the stairwell turns tight at the top, the piece goes down on its end with pads on the corners to keep them off the wall.

The path out gets planned first, with moving blankets where they help, so the floors, door frames and walls look the same after we’ve gone.

Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

Pricing

What changes the price

Dresser pricing scales with size, material and access. Particle board is light; a solid-oak chest coming down a flight is real weight and can mean extra hands.

A whole bedroom set going at once, dresser, nightstands, headboard and mattress, costs less per piece than calling for each one. The drive down from Brunswick is counted before you hear a number.

Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

After the pickup

Where it goes

A solid wood dresser in good shape is one of the more genuinely reusable things we pick up. When it’s sound, it rides separately on the truck and is offered for donation; the organization decides whether to take it, and condition matters.

Particle board and water-damaged pieces usually don’t have that path. We tell you on site which way yours is going, and it goes where it properly belongs.
