Hot Tub You’re Done With Behind the House in Shellman Bluff?

Yes, and there’s nothing to do on your end first. A hot tub almost never fits out through the gate or the side yard in one piece, so we cut it down where it sits. Draining is ours, done on site when there’s a hose run, and then the cabinet, the frame and the shell come apart into sections small enough to carry.
What we handle
How the tub comes apart
The cover comes off, then the cabinet panels one at a time. If the tub has a frame holding the shell from the outside, that unbolts with sockets and a pry bar. The shell itself gets cut into sections with the right blade, and every section leaves through the same opening it has to fit through.
A tub that’s still wired in is something we plan around, not a reason to wait. When licensed electrical or plumbing work is needed, that’s normally handled by you or a licensed pro. Show us what you have and where it is, and we’ll help figure out what’s needed and work around it. A picture of where the tub connects tells us most of it, and the crew is sized to the tub and the walk out to the truck.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
Shellman Bluff
Taking a tub out without leaving a mark
Around Shellman Bluff the old cottages sit right alongside newer homes, and a hot tub at one of the newer places may be set into a deck or a patio somebody put real thought and money into. Getting the tub out is only half the job. The other half is leaving the place the way you had it.
Whether the house is out at Sutherland Bluff or down past Cooper’s Point, the job runs the way those properties call for. Access is coordinated before the truck rolls in, the crew minds the flower beds, the sprinkler heads and the driveway, and the cuts stay around the tub so the deck is left intact unless the deck is part of what’s going. Out there, you don’t show up acting like you’re at the landfill.

Pricing
What sets the price of a hot tub
The tub’s size, how it was installed and the distance to the truck set most of it. Open pad with a straight shot to the driveway is the light end. Built into a deck, sunk into a surround, or carried around the house and through a tight side gate means more hours of cutting and carrying, and it’s priced as what it is.
If a deck, a gazebo or an old shed is coming out too, it goes into the same quote before we start. The drive down is in the price from the beginning, and once you have the number, that’s the number.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
After the pickup
Where it goes
The whole tub leaves on our truck. The shell, foam and cabinet mostly go to disposal, and each part goes where it belongs by what it’s made of.
Any metal frame we can pull out usually goes to scrap recycling, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick.
A cover lifter or a set of spa steps with life left in it may go to an organization we work with, such as HART in McIntosh County, which decides what it accepts.
