Who Takes Old Patio Furniture Away in Shellman Bluff?

Call or Text for the Next Patio Furniture Removal Opening in Shellman Bluff

Yes. Out by the marsh, outdoor furniture gets the worst of the salt and the weather. Aluminum pits, straps snap, cushions never quite dry, umbrellas fade out. When it’s done, we carry it off, from one rocker to everything on the porch.

Shellman Bluff

Porches and decks around Shellman Bluff

Shellman Bluff is little communities and roads scattered through the marsh, and a lot of the sitting happens outside, on a porch or a deck that takes salt, sun and wind all year. That’s why outdoor furniture here wears out the way it does.

If the house is down past Cooper’s Point, the crew works the way that place expects. We coordinate access, carry pieces around the flower beds instead of through them, mind the sprinkler heads and the driveway, and leave the yard looking the way it did, minus the old set.

When a family place that’s been handed down for generations gets cleared out, the old porch set usually rides along with the rest of the house, often from a screened porch nobody has used in a while.

And after hurricane season sends wind through, bent frames and furniture blown across the yard move up the list. That gets folded into the storm cleanup instead of a separate visit.

What we handle

How it comes off the porch

We stack the chairs and load them together. Glass tops take the most time: if the top lifts off its base we pad it and carry it separately, and any broken glass gets bagged by itself.

Cushions can stay on. A soaked sectional is heavy, and we bring the hands it needs. Porch swing still hanging? We take it down and it goes with the rest.

Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

Pricing

What changes the price

Volume, weight and the walk from the deck to the truck set it. A pair of chairs by the driveway is quick. A full sectional off a raised deck, or pieces the wind spread across the yard, takes longer.

If the patio set goes with a bigger cleanup, it becomes part of that one price, and the drive down is figured in from the start.

Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

After the pickup

Where it goes

Aluminum and steel frames usually go to scrap recycling, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick; salt pitting doesn’t stop aluminum from recycling.

Pieces still in good shape may go to organizations we work with, like HART in McIntosh County, and they decide what they accept.

Soaked cushions, faded umbrella fabric and resin with no metal in it usually go to disposal.

We sort during loading, so nothing needs separating ahead of time.
