Pricing

How pricing works.

What mirror removal costs here. We price by the tier your items fill, starting at $95–$150 for a 1/8 truck; a single item is quoted from a photo so we can confirm the tier before anything is loaded. The number you agree to is the number you pay, and it includes carry-out, the disposal fee and cleanup.

A mirror takes almost no room on the truck, so the price mostly follows what else is going and how far the glass has to be carried. A mirror on its own, or a stack of them from a remodel, is quoted from a photo, and if the dresser it came off is going too, both sit in one quote. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

The short version

Mirror Removal at a glance.

What it is
Removal of large mirrors of every kind — floor, wall, cheval, dresser and vanity mirrors — wrapped, carried on edge and hauled away, broken ones included.
What’s included
  • Mirrors taken down from hooks, clips and dresser backs
  • Wrapped in blankets with the corners padded
  • Carried and stood on edge, never flat
  • Cracked and broken glass taped and contained
  • The dresser or the rest of the room on the same trip
How pricing works
Priced by the truck tier the load fills; one mirror or a stack is quoted from a photo and confirmed before anything is loaded.

Part of our Furniture Removal service

Yes, we take them. With a mirror, the glass is the whole job. A big one isn’t especially heavy for its size, but it’s wide, it flexes, and it doesn’t give you a second chance. Carry a large mirror flat and the middle sags until it cracks. Bump a corner on a doorframe and the crack runs.

So mirrors travel on edge, the way glass shops move them. Each one gets wrapped in moving blankets with the corners padded, carried upright by two people when it’s large, and stood on edge on the truck where nothing can lean on it. The frame doesn’t matter much — a gilded antique, a builder-grade bathroom mirror and a cheap full-length from a dorm room all get the same handling.

A cracked or broken mirror is still a normal pickup. The glass gets taped and wrapped so the pieces can’t shift, and the crew handles it with gloves.

How we work

Moving a Big Mirror Out of a Brunswick Home in One Piece

A mirror that hangs on a wire or a pair of hooks comes off the wall in a minute. A dresser mirror is bolted to the back of the dresser on two uprights; it unbolts, gets wrapped, and leaves either on its own or with the dresser. Mirrored closet doors lift out of their tracks. Stairs and apartment hallways are where a big one needs two people and a slow turn.

A framed mirror in good condition is the kind of thing we try to place with an organization we work with, such as Habitat for Humanity ReStore or Goodwill. They decide what they accept, and condition matters. Broken glass goes out wrapped with the rest of the load.

A mirror is usually the last thing left leaning against a wall after a move. It might be a tall floor mirror in a place near Parkwood, or a heavy framed one over the mantel in one of the established homes in the Lanier Boulevard area. Either way, the glass gets wrapped in blankets, the corners padded, and it’s carried on edge down the hall or the stairs and stood upright on the truck where nothing leans on it. One photo is enough to price it, and it can ride along with whatever else is leaving, from homes all over Brunswick.
