Who Hauls Off a Pile of Old Tires Near Darien?

Call or Text for the Next Tire Removal Opening in Darien

Yes. Tires are the thing almost every cleanout turns up: a set in the corner of the garage, a few stacked behind the shed, a pile at the back of a field. We take them as part of the load, rims on or off, and nothing needs to be dismounted first.

Darien

Tires on McIntosh County land

On land that has been in a family for decades, tires collect the way everything else does. A barn holds a stack from three trucks ago, a shed has the set the tire shop handed back, and a few more sit out back with rainwater standing in them. Georgia keeps tires out of landfills for good reason — they don’t decompose, and they hold water and breed mosquitoes — so they have to be handled as their own category.

A pile behind an outbuilding up in Townsend, or on a property a few miles off Highway 99, gets counted from your photos before we drive out.

If the tires sit down a long drive or across ground that stays soft after rain, we plan for the carry. And because the McIntosh County facility has real limits, a Darien load doesn’t automatically end there: each part of it goes where its material allows.

Pricing

What changes the price of tire removal

Tires are priced by count rather than by how much room they take, and whether they’re still on the rim changes the per-tire part. That cost is the regulated disposal route showing up, not padding, and it’s named separately so you can see it.

Size and the carry matter too. Light-truck tires on steel wheels at the back of a field, carried out of a barn or down a dirt drive, take more work than a stack of passenger tires by the garage door.

Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

What we handle

How we handle tires

A handful of tires rides along with the rest of a visit. A bigger accumulation gets its own appointment, so the price is settled before a truck is committed rather than during.

Rims on is fine. Tractor, semi or equipment tires are a different size of job — send a photo and tell us how many, and we’ll tell you what it takes.

Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

After the pickup

Where it goes

Tires are handled according to quantity and condition, never thrown in with an ordinary load, and we’ll tell you what is happening with yours whenever you ask.

Other metal from the same cleanup — an old mower deck, a rusted grill — usually goes to scrap at SA Recycling in Brunswick.

A dead TV or radio found with the tires goes to a place like Broadhurst, since the McIntosh County landfill doesn’t accept electronics.
