Who Takes Old Flat Screens and Tube TVs in Darien?
Call or Text for the Next TV Removal Opening in Darien
Yes — any TV, any age, working or not. Weight is what catches people off guard: a flat screen is light but fragile and easy to crack at a corner, and an old tube set is far heavier than it looks. We come ready for whichever one you have.
Darien
Old TVs and the McIntosh County facility
The part most people don’t know about a TV in McIntosh County is where it can go. The county’s own facility doesn’t accept electronics, so a set from a Darien house usually rides with us to Broadhurst in Wayne County, which takes that category of end-of-life electronics. You don’t have to work that out — the material decides where the truck goes, and that’s our call to make.
A TV might hang on the bedroom wall of a house in Ashantilly or sit on a stand in the den of a home up in Belleville. Either way, it gets carried out with care for the house around it.
TVs come up most during estate work out here. A family clearing a parent’s house often finds more than one, plus the stands and cabinets they sat on, and they all go on the same trip at the family’s pace.
What we handle
Taking a TV off the wall and out of the house
If it’s mounted, we take it down, and the bracket can leave with us or stay on the wall — your call. Anything heavier than a small flat panel goes on a dolly, and every set travels in a protective layer so a corner doesn’t take a knock on the way out.
Older homes can mean narrow halls, tight turns and less room at the door, so we pay attention to the walk-out. Your photos show us what the carry looks like before we drive over.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

After the pickup
Where it goes
Because the McIntosh County landfill doesn’t take electronics, a TV from out here is routed to places like Broadhurst, which accepts certain broken electronics.
A newer set that still works can be offered to donation outlets we work with, such as HART here in McIntosh County. They decide what they accept and condition matters, so it’s never promised.
Metal wall mounts and brackets can go to scrap at SA Recycling in Brunswick.
Pricing
What changes the price
Size, weight and how many. A single flat screen from a living room is the light end; a heavy tube set from an upstairs bedroom is more work. Several TVs price as one trip rather than per unit.
Routing electronics properly takes real time on the back end, and we account for it honestly in the estimate rather than pretending the disposal is free.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
