TV removal across the Golden Isles.
Old tube TVs, flat panels, wall-mounted, multi-room replacements. Routed to e-waste recycling, not the landfill.
TV removal is one of those jobs where the weight catches people off guard. A 32-inch tube TV from the early 2000s can run seventy-five pounds — heavier than the dresser most people would call us to haul. The flat panels that replaced them weigh less, but they’re fragile, awkward to grip, and easy to crack if a corner takes the wrong impact.
The other reality is the disposal side. TVs aren’t allowed in regular trash in most places. They get routed to e-waste recycling — the screen, the chassis, the cables, the mount hardware if it comes with. We don’t shortcut that step. The unit leaves the truck through the same channel for every TV we haul, regardless of size.
Multi-TV jobs are common — whole-house upgrades, business renovations, hotel refreshes. We handle the volume the same way we handle a single set: carefully, on the dolly, in the right protective layer.
What we haul
Specifically, what we take for tv removal.
- Old tube TVs (CRT)
- LCD, plasma, LED, and OLED flat panels
- Wall-mounted TVs (we remove from the mount)
- Projection TVs (rear-projection, front-projection)
- Computer monitors
- TV mounts and brackets (with the unit or separately)
How we work
How we actually handle it.
TVs vary wildly in weight depending on age and screen tech — the older the TV, the heavier it tends to be. Old tube TVs are often the surprise: they look modest, they weigh seventy-five-plus pounds, and the glass is thick enough that handling matters. We dolly anything heavier than a small flat panel.
Wall-mounted TVs come off the mount first. We can take the mount with the TV or leave it on the wall — your call. We don’t patch the holes left behind, but we tell you up front what the wall is going to look like.
Multi-TV jobs run on a single trip when we plan ahead. Hotel renovations, office refreshes, whole-house upgrades — tell us the count and the room layout, we plan the load.
Pricing
How pricing works.
TV pricing scales with size, weight, and quantity. A flat panel from a living room is the lightest version. A 50-inch projection TV from a finished basement is heavier work. Multi-unit jobs price as one load.
E-waste routing adds value people don’t see at the curb but does cost time on the back end — we account for it honestly in the estimate rather than pretending the disposal is free.
