Furniture and household goods worth offering go on the truck separately so they don’t end up in the wrong pile by accident, and they may go to organizations we work with, such as HART in McIntosh County. They decide what they accept, and condition matters.

If the old refrigerator still runs and a repair makes sense, it may be fixed and passed on to a family who needs one; a dead one usually goes to SA Recycling in Brunswick for refrigerant recovery.

Old televisions and stereos can’t go to the McIntosh County landfill, which doesn’t take electronics, so electronics from McIntosh jobs go to a place such as Broadhurst, which takes certain broken electronics.
