Who Picks Up Old Furniture in Shellman Bluff?
Call or Text for the Next Furniture Removal Opening in Shellman Bluff
Yes, any of it, from a single chair to a houseful. Furniture removal is everyday work for us, and it isn’t mysterious: a careful carry, a clean way out through the doorways and hallways, and a load that gets sorted before anything heads to disposal. If you don’t want it anymore, that’s reason enough for it to go.
Shellman Bluff
Old family places and newer houses
Around Shellman Bluff an old cottage that has been in one family for generations can sit right alongside a house built not long ago, and the furniture follows suit. One place has a dining set, a cedar chest and a bed nobody could lift alone; the next has a sectional that won’t fit the new living room. Either one is ordinary work for us.
When it’s a family place, the furniture is usually the first layer of a bigger clear-out, and we treat it that way. Anything personal or valuable that turns up in a drawer gets set aside for the family to decide on, not decided by the crew, and the rest is handled with respect for whose place it was.
Whether you’re near the water or over in Belleville, it’s the same call. Tell us where the house is the way you’d tell anybody around here, send the photos, and we’ll give you the next available opening, with the drive down already counted in the price.
What we handle
The carrying is ours
The pieces that slow a job are the ones that look easy from the curb, like an antique armoire that was put together in the room before the room was finished. The crew walks the room with you first, confirms what’s leaving and what’s staying, and spots anything that needs taking apart.
Sectionals come apart at the seams or the connectors and recliners at the swivel base. If a piece truly can’t leave whole, we’ll talk it through before any blade comes out. We pad the floor, keep the corners off the walls and sweep up before we leave.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

Pricing
What the price depends on
Volume, weight and access. A light chair from a ground-floor room is the easy end; a sleeper sofa down a flight of stairs is a different job, and the price says so honestly instead of treating every piece the same.
A whole houseful takes longer and is scheduled for the time it needs. The real drive from Brunswick is part of the price we give you up front.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

After the pickup
Where the furniture goes
Everything leaves on our truck, and pieces that could be used again ride separately from the ones headed for disposal, so each goes where it should.
Solid wood and lightly used pieces have the best chance at a second home and may go to an organization we work with, such as HART in McIntosh County. Donation centers aren’t an extension of the landfill: they decide what they’ll accept, and condition matters.
Metal bed frames and rails usually go to scrap recycling, usually at SA Recycling in Brunswick, and furniture worn past use goes to disposal.
