Cleaning Up After a Storm Came Through Shellman Bluff?

Call or Text for the Next Storm Debris Removal Opening in Shellman Bluff

Yes. Limbs, fronds and a tree that’s already on the ground, cut to truck-bed length right where it lies. Fence sections, a shed roof in the yard, the furniture and carpet off a floor that took water. Hurricane season is the same coastal reality down here that it is everywhere we work, and once the wind has come through, this kind of cleanup moves to the top of everybody’s list.

Shellman Bluff

When the wind gets down this way

Down this end of the county a storm doesn’t only drop limbs. With boats, docks and tidal water this close to the houses, a blow can leave boards, gear and debris that was never yours scattered right in with your own, and all of it rides in the same load. A place out at Pine Harbor on the water and a house back toward Eulonia nearer the highway are different cleanups, and each one gets planned from your photos.

The work comes in waves. Real hazards first, like a limb across the drive or a leaning tree resting on a fence that’s about to go, then the heaviest piles, then the slower finish work. Plenty of people only get to the back of the yard a few weeks later, once the house is put right, and that call is every bit as normal.

After a widespread storm, the places that take debris fill up, and that limits how fast anybody can clean up as much as trucks do. The McIntosh County landfill has its own limits on top of that. It’s part of why the window you get from us is an honest one.

What we handle

What we take care of after a storm

Send photos of the debris and where it’s sitting, and we’ll work out the trips, the order and the price. Whatever else the storm ruined can ride on the same plan: the soaked rug off the porch, a busted fence gate, the boxes from a shed that let the water in. We move at the pace you’re moving, not the truck’s.

Need pictures or a list of what we hauled for an insurance claim? Say so when you book and we’ll work with you on it. And when McIntosh County runs a curbside collection of yard debris after a storm, we’ll tell you, so you aren’t paying us for what the county would pick up anyway.

Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

After the pickup

Where it goes

Everything leaves on our truck, sorted by what it actually is rather than hauled off as one pile.

Fence wire, aluminum and other metal usually go to scrap recycling, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick. A storm-damaged refrigerator or freezer usually goes there too, for refrigerant recovery.

A ruined TV or other electronics from a McIntosh job goes to Broadhurst, which takes certain broken electronics, since the county landfill can’t take them.

Green waste and the rest go where they properly belong.

Pricing

What sets the price after a storm

How much there is and how heavy it is. A pile of soaked limbs is a different load from a pile of palm fronds the same size, and debris scattered from the road down to the water’s edge takes more gathering than one heap by the driveway.

There’s no storm premium on top. Storm work is priced the same way as everything else we do, and the drive down is part of the quote from the start.

Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
