Who Can Move a Heavy Safe Out of a St. Simons Island Home or Office?
Same-Day Safe Removal on St. Simons Island Often Available — Call or Text
Yes, we take safes. With a safe, the weight defines the work: it decides how many people come, which dollies and straps they bring, and which way out of the house is safest. Tell us the make and model or the dimensions with your photos, and we can plan it properly.
A safe that’s finished comes off the island to Brunswick; one that’s staying in use can simply move to your new place nearby.

Safes on St. Simons
In the older houses near the Village, floors and door casings have some years on them, and a few hundred pounds of steel on a dolly will find every soft board. We lay protection along the route, keep the truck where it doesn’t block a street with no parking, and take the time a careful carry needs.
The safe might be in a closet at a house in Hamilton Landing or in a back room in Kings Terrace near the Village. If there’s a gate, we coordinate the code or a scheduled window with you or whoever manages the house, and a few photos of the safe and the route tell us the rest.
Up Sea Island Road and in the bigger homes toward the north end, a safe can sit at the far end of a long house and a longer driveway. Pace there is set by what we’re carrying and what we’re carrying it past, not by the clock.
On an island estate a safe can hold the things a family most needs to find, so it never gets rushed out the door. Anything we come across nearby that looks valuable or personal is set aside and handed to you before the safe goes.
What we handle
How we move it
We bring the hands the safe needs; if it’s a quality gun safe, a large fire-rated unit or a stair on the route, that can mean extra hands. Stairs get a plan before anyone lifts, and the safe is never set down mid-stair.
In-wall safes come out by opening the framing around the unit. For a safe bolted into the floor, a vault door, or a safe nobody can open anymore: send us a few photos and tell us where it is, and we’ll tell you what it takes.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

Pricing
What changes the price
Weight, access, stairs and crew size, plus whether the safe is leaving for good or relocating. A freestanding safe on a ground floor with a clear path is the light end; a heavy unit upstairs at the back of a long house is the heavy end. The causeway is already in the number.
A safe from an office on the Demere corridor adds the question of where the truck can stand and for how long, which we settle before the day.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.

After the pickup
Where it goes
We figure out the right destination for each safe. One that’s past use comes off the island to Brunswick and usually goes to scrap, often at SA Recycling, since a safe is mostly steel.
A safe with years left in it doesn’t have to be scrapped at all. We can move it to a new address nearby as part of the same service.
