Heavy Garden Statues or Old Posts to Clear From a St. Simons Yard?
Same-Day Yard Fixture Removal on St. Simons Often Available — Call or Text
Yes, we take it. Garden pieces are mostly small jobs with one catch: a lot of them are set in the ground, and what’s under the surface is the part you can’t see from the driveway. That’s what we look at first in your photos.
What we haul
What we haul out of the garden
- Concrete benches, urns and large garden statues
- Birdbaths, big planters and oversized flower pots
- Wooden and concrete picnic tables
- Trellises, arbors and raised garden beds
- Clothesline poles, rotary ones included
- Mailbox posts, flagpoles and old sign posts
- Lawn ornaments, yard art, compost bins and rain barrels
St. Simons Island
Garden pieces around island homes
On the bigger properties along Sea Island Road and toward the north end, a concrete bench or a statue can sit well back from where a truck can stop, past planting beds, a pool deck or a long lawn. Those carries are as much about what we walk past as what we’re holding, so the heavy pieces leave on a dolly at a careful pace, with the path settled before anything is lifted.
Some north-end lots have softer ground, which changes the plan for a solid concrete piece: a loaded dolly rolls far better on firm footing than across lawn after rain. We allow more time there and bring the extra hands that kind of carry calls for.
That could be a stone urn at one of the north-end waterfront properties at Hampton Point, or a birdbath and a few planters behind a house in Sea Palms.
On an older island property, some of what looks like yard clutter — a cast figure, a weathered urn — deserves a second look. If a piece might have value or meaning, we set it aside and ask you before it goes on the truck.

What we handle
Pieces set in the ground
A post tamped into bare dirt comes out with a few minutes of rocking and pulling. One sitting in a poured footing is a different job, and the footing is what we study in your photos. Send us a few photos and tell us where it is, and we’ll tell you what it takes.
Garden fixtures rarely travel alone. A birdbath, an old clothesline and a bent flagpole can all come off the list in one visit, often alongside a fence, a shed or a yard cleanup, and bundling them is the efficient way to do it.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
After the pickup
Where it goes
We work out where each piece should go. Fixtures are mostly steel, aluminum and treated wood; the metal is separated where it makes sense and usually goes to scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick, rather than defaulting to the landfill.
A sturdy bench or planter in good shape may be worth passing on, though the organizations we work with decide what they accept.
Concrete and the rest of the load leave the island with us, straight into Brunswick.
Pricing
What changes the price
Two things set it: how each piece is anchored and how many there are. A planter on a patio is the light end. A solid bench at the back of a long lawn, or a flagpole in a deep footing, is where the time goes, because the footing is the real job, not the pole.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
