Pricing
How pricing works.
What go-kart removal costs here. We price by the tier your items fill, starting at $95–$150 for a 1/8 truck; a single item is quoted from a photo so we can confirm the tier before anything is loaded. The number you agree to is the number you pay, and it includes carry-out, the disposal fee and cleanup.
A small kids’ kart is a small part of a load. A big fun kart with a cage, or two karts and a pile of parts, takes more room, and one sitting at the far end of a soft yard takes a little more time to reach. If you want the swing set or the trampoline gone on the same trip, we’ll tell you what that adds before we load it. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

Part of our Garage Cleanouts service
Yes, we haul off go-karts — running, dead, rusted or stripped. Almost every one that needs to go was bought for kids who have since grown up. It got driven in circles around the yard for a few years, the pull-start quit, and it’s been parked by the shed ever since with the grass growing up through the frame.
A go-kart is mostly bare steel tube, a seat and a small engine bolted on the back, so it isn’t especially heavy. The trouble is shape. It sits low and wide, and a fun kart with a roll cage is wide and tall at once, which is what doesn’t fit through a side gate or between the shed and the fence. Sometimes it gets tipped on its side to clear the gap; sometimes the cage or the seat comes off first. Either way that’s our work, and a photo of the kart and the way out tells us which.
A flat tire or a wheel rusted solid just means it gets lifted instead of pushed.

How we work
Go-Kart Hauling on Bigger Lots North of Brunswick
Most karts come out of a shed, a carport or a corner of the yard, and two people can carry a small one straight to the truck. A larger fun kart that won’t roll gets lifted on with more hands. On a bigger lot we bring the truck, a trailer or other equipment sized to how much is coming out and where it sits.
A little gas left in the tank, or a battery on an electric kart, is no reason to wait — mention it with your photos and we’ll sort it out with you when we quote.
Afterward, the steel frame is usually recycled as scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick. A battery off an electric kart goes to the appropriate recycling or disposal stream, never in with ordinary trash.
A go-kart needs room to run, so the old ones tend to sit where the yards are big. Along Highway 341 and up around Sterling, a kart that circled the backyard for a few summers can end up behind a shed or tucked in the tree line, with a fence and a gate between it and the driveway. That gate is usually the question, not the kart. Send a photo of both and we’ll tell you how it comes out, from the edge of town to the county line and anywhere else around Brunswick.
