Pricing
How pricing works.
What scooter removal costs here. We price by the tier your items fill, starting at $95–$150 for a 1/8 truck; a single item is quoted from a photo so we can confirm the tier before anything is loaded. The number you agree to is the number you pay, and it includes carry-out, the disposal fee and cleanup.
A moped or a stack of stand-up scooters fills very little of a truck, so the price mostly follows whatever else is going with them. A moped that has to come up a set of porch steps or out a tight side yard takes a few more minutes. Anything you add on the day, we’ll price before it goes on. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

Part of our Garage Cleanouts service
Yes, we take scooters and mopeds, running or not. They come in two very different kinds. One is the sit-down kind — a moped or a little motor scooter someone used to get to work or around town, with a small engine under plastic bodywork. The other is the stand-up electric scooter, the Razor-style kind that folds in half and lives in a hall closet until the battery gives out.
Neither is a hard carry. A moped with air in its tires rolls up the ramp and gets strapped upright; one with flat tires or a locked front end gets lifted on by two people. Stand-up scooters fold and stack, so a handful of them from a family that went through a few is still a small load.
Moped bodywork is mostly plastic, and a few years parked outside in coastal sun leaves it chalky and cracked. That doesn’t change anything for us. Cracked panels, a missing seat, a scooter that’s been sitting since before the kids left home — it all goes the same way.

How we work
Moped and Scooter Pickup in Older Brunswick Neighborhoods
A moped on a porch, under a carport or in a narrow side yard comes out the way it fits: rolled if it rolls, lifted if it doesn’t. Electric stand-up scooters just get carried out folded.
A little gas left in a moped, a dead battery, no paperwork — mention it with your photos and we’ll sort it out with you when we quote. For electric scooters, tell us what kind of battery it has, or send a photo.
Afterward, the metal is usually recycled as scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick, and batteries go to the appropriate recycling or disposal stream, never in with ordinary trash. A scooter that still runs may have a second life; the donation organizations we work with decide what they accept, and condition matters.
In the older in-town streets like Arco and New Town, a moped is often parked right on the front porch, under a carport or down a side yard barely wider than the handlebars. Plenty of those houses sit up a few steps, so a scooter that won’t roll gets lifted down rather than ridden off. Stand-up electric scooters are easier: they fold and come out through the front door. Either way, send a photo of the scooter and where it’s parked, and we’ll give you a firm price from any street in Brunswick.
