Pricing

How pricing works.

What truck cap and toolbox removal costs here. We price by the tier your items fill, starting at $95–$150 for a 1/8 truck; a single item is quoted from a photo so we can confirm the tier before anything is loaded. The number you agree to is the number you pay, and it includes carry-out, the disposal fee and cleanup.

A truck cap takes up a lot of the truck for what it weighs, so it prices by space; a toolbox or a rack is a small share. A steel service body or flatbed is heavier and quoted from photos with the access in mind. Add the rest of the garage and it’s still one visit and one price. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

  • Bed toolboxes, full or empty

Part of our Garage Cleanouts service

Yes, we take truck caps, toolboxes and racks. They outlive the truck almost every time. You trade in the pickup, the cap was made for that bed and nothing else, and now it’s a big fiberglass shell sitting on two sawhorses by the fence or leaning against the house where the mower used to go.

A cap is not heavy so much as wide and fragile. It’s a full bed’s width, the side windows and the rear glass are still in it, and it catches wind like a sail. It takes two people walking it out level, one at each end, with an extra set of hands to guide it through a gate when the yard is tight. Toolboxes are the opposite: long, narrow, and heavier than they look once the drawers are full of old sockets and bungee cords.

Racks and beds are mostly metal. A ladder rack or a headache rack comes apart at the bolts, a tonneau cover folds or rolls, and an old flatbed or service body is a steel job that just needs the right equipment and a clear path.

How we work

Truck Caps and Toolboxes in Brunswick Side Yards

When the cap or the box is already off the truck — on blocks, on sawhorses, against a wall — it’s a carry and a load, with protective coverings where it might rub and nothing dragged across the driveway. Anything still bolted to a truck is its own question. Send us a few photos and tell us where it is, and we’ll tell you what it takes.

A full toolbox can go as-is; whatever’s inside goes with it unless you’d like to keep it. A cap with its glass intact and its seals in good shape may be worth offering to organizations we work with, which decide what they accept, and condition matters.

Afterward, aluminum toolboxes, racks and steel beds usually go to scrap recycling, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick. Fiberglass caps, liners and covers leave with the rest of the load.

A camper shell that’s lost its truck takes up most of a side yard in a newer neighborhood around Harry Driggers Boulevard. Out in North Glynn toward the county line, the same cap might be sitting in the grass behind the garage with a bed toolbox and a ladder rack beside it. Either way it’s a carry, not a heavy lift: two people walking the cap level to the truck, an extra set of hands at the gate, and the box and the rack loaded around it. If an HOA letter set the deadline, send it along with the photos and we’ll tell you the soonest opening for anywhere in the Brunswick area.
