Need Old Appliances Hauled Out of a Darien Home, Garage or Barn?
Call or Text for the Next Appliance Removal Opening in Darien
Yes, working or not. Around Darien plenty of old appliances aren’t in the kitchen at all: the second fridge in the barn, the chest freezer in the shed, the washer that moved to the carport when the new one arrived and has been sitting a while. We carry them out, and each one goes where its condition sends it.

Darien
Appliance removal in Darien and around McIntosh County
In Downtown Darien the walk-out gets as much attention as the lift. Around Broad Street and the old town, homes are older and the streets narrower, so we work out where the truck can sit and how a fridge clears an old doorway before we arrive.
An appliance can be waiting out in Ridgeville (The Ridge) as easily as in town. Out on the rural properties around the county, the dead ones are often in a barn or an outbuilding, and a long drive or a soft yard just means more carrying by hand. We come with the hands for it.
In an inherited home, the kitchen and laundry can be one pass of a longer cleanout, after the family has gone through everything else. We work at your pace and come back when you’re ready for the next part.
What we handle
What we take care of on appliance jobs
Plug-in units get unplugged and an accessible water line gets a basic hand-disconnect as part of the haul. The carry is a dolly and the hands it needs, and stairs, a tight laundry closet or a door that has to come off are a normal part of the job.
A gas line or a hard-wired unit is the exception to the simple stuff. When licensed electrical or plumbing work is needed, that’s normally handled by you or a licensed pro. Show us what you have and where it is, and we’ll help figure out what’s needed and work around it.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
After the pickup
Where the appliances go
Refrigerators, freezers and other refrigerant appliances head to SA Recycling in Brunswick, where regulated refrigerant recovery happens.
Washers, dryers, stoves and other metal appliances usually go to scrap at SA Recycling as well.
When a unit still has life in it, it’s sometimes repaired inexpensively and given to a family who needs one, or offered to an organization such as HART in McIntosh County — they decide what they accept, and condition matters.
Units that are genuinely finished go to disposal.
Pricing
What changes the price on appliances
Appliances are priced by the unit and the access. A fridge from a kitchen at ground level is the light end; a big one coming down stairs, or out of a barn across a soft yard, is heavier work.
Several appliances on one trip cost less per unit than separate pickups, which makes even more sense when the trip is a half hour each way.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
