Storm Debris Piled Up at Your Jekyll Island Home or Rental?
Same-Day Storm Debris Removal on Jekyll Island Often Available — Call or Text
A storm pile is never one thing. There are branches, a fence panel, cushions that sat in water, maybe carpet out of a flooded ground floor. We split it up by material so each part can go somewhere that will take it.
Send photos of what’s down and where it is, and we’ll tell you what it takes to clear it.
Jekyll Island
When a storm comes through Jekyll
Most of the year, work on Jekyll runs at a steady pace. A hurricane and the days after it are the exception: debris and urgent cleanup move to the front, and we work through the list honestly rather than promising everybody the first slot. Genuine hazards go first, like a limb across a driveway or something resting on a roof.
The island’s regular bulk service doesn’t handle every type of material, and construction debris is one of the gaps, which is where a private crew earns its keep after a storm. Wrecked fencing at a house along the historic waterfront on Riverview Drive or limbs and soaked furniture at a home on the north end near Driftwood Beach come off the property and leave the island with us.
After a widespread storm, the receiving facilities fill up, and every load has to go somewhere that will accept it. Yard material and construction debris need a facility that takes them, which is not every facility, so each trip off the island is planned around where its load can go that day.

What we handle
What we take care of after the storm
Limbs on the ground get cut to truck-bed length on site. A tree that is still leaning or resting against the house needs a tree service to bring it down safely first; once it’s on the ground, it’s ours.
If you need photos or a list of what left for your records, tell us when you book and we’ll work with you.
A big cleanup can run over more than one visit: the urgent and the heaviest first, then the finish work at your pace.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
After the pickup
Where it goes
We sort a storm load by material and figure out the right destination for each part. Yard waste and construction debris go to a facility that accepts them, such as Republic on Young Lane in Brunswick, which takes both.
Metal like aluminum shutters is usually recycled as scrap rather than buried, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick.
Furniture and contents that sat in floodwater usually go to disposal. Nothing is left on the island and nothing gets dumped by the road.
Pricing
What changes the price
Storm work is priced on volume and weight, the same as everything else we haul, with no emergency premium on top. Wet material weighs more, and a pile at the back of the lot takes longer to carry than one at the driveway. The trip off the island is in the number from the first quote.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
