Vacation Rental Cleanout & Refresh on Jekyll Island, GA

Most rental work on this island comes to us through property managers, and they schedule around guest windows that hold fairly steady from spring through fall. Give us the checkout, the next arrival and the day the new furniture lands, and we build the job backward from those three times. By the time the truck crosses the bridge, we know what is coming out of each room.

Condo buildings are where the unit-by-unit work lives. If you manage several units turning over on different dates, each one can be its own visit, or a few can share a trip when the calendar lines up. Managers know what a finished turnover looks like, so we tell you what we know as soon as we know it and hand the cleaners an empty unit to work in.

A rental house along Beachview Drive and a condo down toward South Beach get the same planning: where the truck can sit, how long the carry runs, and how many stairs stand between the bedrooms and the door.

Nothing from a refresh stays behind on the island. Every mattress, dresser and deck chair rides back across the bridge with us, none of it gets set out at a curb for someone else to deal with, and that round trip is in the quote from the first conversation.

Nobody has to be on the island for it. Your manager or cleaners can send the photos, a door code or lockbox gets us in, and we handle the rest. Tell us what stays, and the crew works around it.

When the old set has to be gone before the delivery truck pulls in, we sequence it so old and new furniture never crowd the same rooms with nowhere to put either. Morning out, afternoon in is the cleanest version.

Solid wood tables, dressers and bed frames can be worth holding on to even when the rest of the rental-grade furniture isn’t. Point them out and they stay put.

The whole load comes back across the bridge with us, and we figure out the right destination for each piece based on what it is.

Usable furniture gets offered to organizations we work with, such as Habitat ReStore or the Salvation Army. They decide what they take, and condition matters.

For the beds, we look for responsible reuse, recycling and disposal options when they’re practical and available. Old refrigerators go through an appliance and refrigerant recycling channel, usually SA Recycling in Brunswick.
