Heavy Old Furniture and a Tight Doorway in St. Marys?
Furniture Removal in St. Marys This Week — Call or Text
Yes, we’ll take it, one piece or every room in the house. The crew does the lifting, takes apart whatever needs taking apart and carries it out the door, so nothing has to be dragged to the porch or the curb ahead of time.
What makes a furniture job quick or slow is hardly ever the furniture. It’s the path out: the turn at the top of the stairs, the hallway, the doorway, and where the truck can sit.
St. Marys
Older houses, newer houses, and the move
St. Marys has more than one kind of house, and furniture work changes with each. An older house in downtown St. Marys is a different carry from a newer subdivision: the property is tighter, the street is established, and there’s no wide driveway to back a trailer into. So before anybody picks anything up, we work out where the truck sits and how each piece comes through the doorways and over the older floors. Those jobs take a little longer, and the homes deserve the attention.
The other side of town is the move. Kings Bay’s influence brings families with orders and a firm date, and furniture is a big share of what never makes the truck: the old couch, the broken dresser, the bunk beds nobody sleeps in anymore. You show us what’s going to the next duty station, and the rest leaves with us.

What we handle
How the furniture comes out
The crew walks the room with you first, confirms what’s leaving and what’s staying, and spots anything that has to come apart. Sectionals separate at the seams or the manufacturer’s connectors, and recliners come apart at the swivel base.
Now and then a doorway was redone after a piece was built in the room. Cutting is sometimes the only honest answer then, and we’ll talk it through with you before any blade comes out.
Older floors and walls get the same care as new ones: pads down, no banged corners, and a sweep before we go. Anything with sentimental value gets pointed out before a piece is loaded.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
Pricing
What changes the furniture price
Furniture pricing scales with volume, weight, and access. A two-hundred-pound sleeper sofa down a flight of stairs is not the same job as a ninety-pound loveseat in a garage, which is why there’s no flat per-piece rate.
A tight downtown carry takes a little longer, and that time is in the number you hear up front, along with the drive. If you decide to add a room once we’re there, we tell you what it changes and you decide.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
After the pickup
Where the furniture goes
Each piece goes where it properly belongs, judged by what it is and the shape it’s in.
Solid wood and lightly used pieces have the best shot at a second home. Upholstery that has been used hard for years usually doesn’t qualify, and the donation center makes that call.
Donation-grade pieces ride separately from the rest of the load, and what nobody can use is recycled where it can be and disposed of properly where it can’t.
