Moving Out of St. Marys With Half a Garage That Isn’t Going?
Moving & Move-Out Cleanout in St. Marys This Week — Call or Text
Yes, we’ll clear it. Orders come in, a date gets set, the movers get booked, and suddenly the whole family is standing in the garage sorting three ways: what rides to the next duty station, what you’re giving away yourselves, and what is not getting on that truck. That last pile is ours: the old couch, the mattresses, a dresser with a broken drawer, outgrown bikes, the patio set, the garage shelving.
None of it has to be hauled out to the driveway first; the crew carries it from wherever it sits. And if you’re still making up your mind about a few pieces, we can come after the movers instead: you keep what you want, and we take everything left over.
St. Marys
A move-out that runs on somebody else’s date
A lot of the calendar in St. Marys is set by orders, leases and moving dates, because Kings Bay’s influence reaches all through the south end of the county. That date usually belongs to somebody else: the moving company, the next assignment, a landlord’s walkthrough. So we plan backward from it. Give us the day the packers arrive or the day the keys go back, and the crew gets scheduled ahead of the truck or right behind it, whichever helps more.
A newer house in Winding River or the neighborhoods around it, out on the Kings Bay side of town, is usually a straightforward carry: the driveway takes the truck, and the job moves at a normal pace. Yours or a rental you’re handing back, the plan is the same. You tell us what’s headed to the next home, and everything else comes out of the garage, the attic, the closets or wherever it’s been sitting.
What we handle
How moving week goes
Point at what’s going with you, or just tell us, and the crew works around it. With packers and kids and boxes everywhere, keeping the moving pile in one room keeps the two piles from getting mixed up.
If the movers run out of room or turn a piece down, a picture of what’s left is enough. We price it from the photo and come clear it once their truck has gone.
If you’ve already moved, that’s fine. A neighbor, your property manager or a lockbox can let us in, and the photos and the price come to your phone so you can say yes from the road or the new duty station.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

What we haul
What isn’t making the move
- Couches and chairs that won’t suit the next house
- Mattresses, box springs and bed frames
- Dressers and nightstands, broken or just unwanted
- Outgrown bikes, toys and kids’ furniture
- Patio furniture and garage shelving
- Attic and storage-room boxes from the last move
- Second refrigerators, washers and dryers
Pricing
What sets the price on a move-out
It’s priced on what is actually leaving. Half a garage fills part of the truck; a whole house that isn’t coming along is quoted as one project. Stairs, an attic and a long walk to the truck are counted at the start, and so is the drive down to St. Marys, so nothing new turns up at the end.
If part of the move is on your own dime and the mover charges by weight, it’s worth doing the math: every piece we take is a piece you aren’t paying to ship.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
After the pickup
Where it goes
We sort each load by what’s in it and the shape it’s in: donated where an organization can use it, recycled or reused where that makes sense, and disposed of properly when nothing better is left.
Some of the house you’ll be giving away yourselves, and that’s your call. For the rest, donation centers decide what they accept, and condition matters, so a worn-out sofa may not find a second home.
A washer or fridge with life left in it is sometimes repaired and given to a family who needs one, depending on the unit; a dead refrigerator goes through the appropriate appliance and refrigerant recycling channel.
