Half a Garage That Isn’t Going With You When You Leave St. Marys?
Garage Cleanout in St. Marys This Week — Call or Text
Yes, the whole garage or just the half that isn’t moving with you. Send us a few pictures of everything, tell us when you need it gone, and we’ll look at what you have and tell you what we can do.
And there’s no need to apologize for the state of it. A full garage just means a family has been busy living in the house.
St. Marys
A garage with a moving date on it
Down here orders, leases and moving dates set a lot of the calendar. A family gets a date, the movers get booked, and suddenly everybody is out in the garage sorting three ways: what goes to the next duty station, what the family is giving away, and what is absolutely not getting on that truck. That last pile is the part we take: the old couch parked out there since the last move, bikes the kids outgrew, garage shelving, the boxes that came down from the attic.
That kind of work runs on somebody else’s date, and we plan to it. Tell us the day the movers come and the day you have to be out. Camden jobs are scheduled, usually within the week, and you get a realistic arrival window built around the route.
Not every garage belongs to a household on orders. When a longtime St. Marys family is downsizing, the garage goes at the pace they set, and half the job is a conversation about what stays.
North of town, where Camden spreads out and feels more coastal, a house out in the Crooked River area gets planned the same way. The drive down from Brunswick is part of the number from the start, never something added at the end.
What we haul
What comes out of the garage
- The couch or mattress that got parked out here after the last move
- Bikes, scooters and outgrown kids’ things
- Garage shelving, workbenches and tool chests
- Patio furniture that isn’t making the trip
- Boxes and bins nobody opened since the last move
- Old mowers, exercise equipment and broken appliances
- Holiday decorations, camping and sports gear
What we handle
How the garage gets emptied
It all comes out onto the driveway into three piles, keep, donate and go, and you point while the crew carries. The box you can’t make up your mind about can sit off to one side. We do not rush it, and we don’t keep circling back to it.
If something turns up that looks like it might matter, a photo album, a folder of papers, a good set of tools, we stop and ask rather than guess. We would much rather ask you about something worthless than throw out something you can’t replace.
Whatever is staying or waiting on the packers goes back in neatly, boxes stacked rather than piled, so nobody is working around a mess on moving day. The shed and the attic are the same kind of job and can be done on the same visit.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
After the pickup
Where it goes
Each load’s destination depends on what’s in it, the condition it’s in and the job. Tools that still work and household goods in good shape get set aside for donation when that makes sense, and the charity on the receiving end decides what it accepts.
Old metal from the garage goes to scrap recycling when it can, and disposal is the last stop, for whatever can’t be used again.
Anything your family is donating on its own before the move is entirely your call. We take what’s left over.
Pricing
What changes the price
Two things set it: how full the garage is and how long the sort takes. The sorting is part of the job, so changing your mind about a box doesn’t cost anything extra.
Adding the attic, the shed or a spare room gets quoted together, with the drive counted once in the same number. That number is the one we stand behind; if you want to add more on the day, we tell you what it adds and you decide.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
