Want the Backyard Pool Gone From Your St. Simons Island Home?
Same-Day Above-Ground Pool Removal on St. Simons Often Available — Call or Text
Yes, we take them down. There are two kinds: metal-frame and resin-panel pools that need real disassembly, and soft-sided ones that come down faster but still have to be hauled. We handle both, and either way the job starts with the water.
What we handle
Draining, then taking it apart
We drain it on site when a hose run and an outlet are available, and if that isn’t possible, we’ll sort it out with you when we quote.
Then it comes apart in sequence: the liner releases first, panels come down one at a time, and the top rails, ledge covers and bottom rails are separated and stacked for the truck.
A deck built into the structure comes down with it; a freestanding one around it can stay or go, your call. The pad underneath is something we can look at: send us a few photos and tell us where it is, and we’ll tell you what it takes.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
St. Simons Island
Taking a pool out of an island backyard
Coastal lots here are mostly flat and sandy, and thousands of gallons need somewhere to go that isn’t a neighbor’s yard or a flowerbed you like. Where that water ends up deserves real thought: we pick the run deliberately, because a careless discharge on sandy soil cuts a channel straight through the lawn.
A pool usually sits toward the back of the lot, so the distance from it to wherever the truck and trailer can park is part of the job, and on the larger island properties that walk is long. If a community gate is involved, the code or access window is arranged before we come, and the equipment is placed where it’s out of everyone’s way for the length of the job.
That might be a backyard behind the gate in Hampton Plantation or a property up on the north end in Frederica.
If you’re planning the removal for summer, the causeway is at its slowest then, especially on a July Saturday. A weekday makes the drive easier, and the drive is in the price either way.

After the pickup
Where it goes
We figure out where each part should go. Steel walls, rails and frames usually go to scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick.
Liners, resin panels and deck lumber are sorted by material, and the load leaves the island headed straight for Brunswick.
We haul the pool itself; chlorine and other pool chemicals need their own route, and we’ll tell you where they go.
Pricing
What changes the price
Size, materials, decks and access. A round resin model with nothing built around it is the light end; a big oval with an attached wooden deck at the back of a gated lot is the heavy end. We look at the whole project instead of pretending every pool is the same.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
