Above-ground pool removal across the Golden Isles.
Drain, disassemble, haul. Wood-deck pools, metal-frame pools, intex-style. Yard cleared and ready for what’s next.
Above-ground pools fall into two camps when the time comes to remove them: the metal-frame and resin-panel pools that take real disassembly, and the soft-sided intex-style pools that come down faster but still need to be hauled. We handle both.
The work starts with draining. Twenty-thousand gallons of pool water goes somewhere — usually the yard, sometimes the storm drain if local rules allow. The customer can drain ahead of our visit or we can do it on site if a hose run and an outlet are available.
After draining, the pool comes apart in sequence. The liner releases first. Panels come down one at a time. Top rails, ledge covers, and bottom rails get separated and stacked. The pool deck — if there’s a deck around the pool — is a separate scope we can fold in or leave for someone else, customer’s call.
What we haul
Specifically, what we take for above-ground pool removal.
- Resin and metal-panel above-ground pools
- Soft-sided pools (intex-style and similar)
- Pool liners and ground cloths
- Pool ladders, decks, and skimmer assemblies
- Pool pumps and filter systems
How we work
How we actually handle it.
An above-ground pool removal starts with draining, then the panels and liner come off in sequence. The whole job runs four-to-eight hours for a standard family pool, depending on the pool size and whether there’s a deck attached.
We don’t break concrete pads. If the pool sits on a poured pad and the customer wants the pad gone too, that’s a separate scope of work — we’ll talk through it but we don’t handle the concrete as part of the pool haul. Same applies to in-ground pool work, which is a different kind of job entirely.
Pool decks attached to the pool are case by case. If the deck is integrated into the pool structure, the deck has to come down with the pool. If the deck is freestanding around the pool, we can leave it intact when the customer wants the deck to stay.
Pricing
How pricing works.
Above-ground pool pricing scales with size, materials, decks, and access. A standard 18-foot round resin pool with no surrounding deck is the lightest version. A larger oval pool with an attached wooden deck and limited access is heavier work.
We give you the number after we see the pool. Photos work for a quick estimate; we’ll come look in person for larger or more complex jobs.

The honest exceptions
What we won’t take — for this item.
A short, honest list of edge cases we either won’t take or want to discuss before we show up. When in doubt, call us — we’ll walk through it before scheduling.
- Concrete pads or hardscape under the pool, unless specifically contracted for
- In-ground pool work — a different scope of work we don’t handle
