Pricing
How pricing works.
What armchair removal costs here. We price by the tier your items fill, starting at $95–$150 for a 1/8 truck; a single item is quoted from a photo so we can confirm the tier before anything is loaded. The number you agree to is the number you pay, and it includes carry-out, the disposal fee and cleanup.
A single chair is a small share of a truck, so a lone chair usually lands at the low end. What moves the number is how many pieces go, and whether there are stairs or a long walk between the chair and the driveway. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

Part of our Furniture Removal service
A chair is the piece of furniture people put off the longest. It isn’t big enough to feel like a project, and it isn’t small enough for the trash can, so it moves to the guest room, then the garage, then the porch. Usually it leaves when something forces the issue: new furniture is on the truck, the house is going on the market, or a family is going through a parent’s rooms one at a time.
The word “armchair” covers a lot of different builds. A club chair or wingback is a hardwood frame wrapped in springs and padding — heavier than it looks and wide across the arms. A rocker or glider is all moving parts and awkward angles. A papasan is a wide rattan bowl on a separate base, and wicker and rattan pieces are light but catch on every door frame. Ottomans, footstools and hassocks ride along with whatever they belonged to.
It’s the same at a beach cottage on East Beach being refurnished between seasons as it is at a family home in Brunswick: one chair is a quick carry, and a room of them is a single trip.

How we work
Getting an Armchair Through a Narrow Brunswick Hallway
Most chairs come out whole. When a doorway, a hallway or a stairwell turn is too tight, the legs come off, and on some builds the back separates from the seat, which turns a wide chair into two easy pieces. That happens in the room, quickly, and it’s our job, not yours.
A chair in decent shape may have a second life, and where that’s realistic we try for it — but the place receiving it decides what it accepts, and condition matters, so we never promise a particular chair will be donated. Worn, torn and pet-damaged chairs go to disposal.
If the chair is part of a bigger clear-out — the sofa it matched, a bed frame upstairs, an old washer — it all goes in the same trip.
A wingback in the front room of an older house in the Habersham Street area or a rocker on the porch of a home in the South End tends to leave when new furniture is on the way or a family is going through a parent’s rooms. If the hallway is narrow or the front door has a tight turn, the legs come off right there and the chair goes out in two easy pieces. Text a photo and say which floor it’s on. A single chair is a normal pickup in our Brunswick service area, and the sofa or bed frame can ride along in the same trip.
