Pricing
How pricing works.
What home gym removal costs here. We price by the tier your items fill, starting at $95–$150 for a 1/8 truck; a single item is quoted from a photo so we can confirm the tier before anything is loaded. The number you agree to is the number you pay, and it includes carry-out, the disposal fee and cleanup.
Home gym pricing comes down to the dismantling time, the weight of the plates and steel, and the carry. A single cable machine in a garage is the light end; a full room with a rack, a stack machine and a few hundred pounds of plates upstairs is the heavy end. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

Part of our Garage Cleanouts service
A home gym is not one machine. It’s a steel frame, a stack of plates on guide rods, cables and pulleys running all over it, a bench, sometimes a leg press or a lat bar hanging off one side — and it was bolted together in the room it’s in. Nothing about it leaves in one piece, and the part that matters most isn’t the weight.
It’s the cables. A weight-stack machine stores tension in its cables, and a cable that lets go under load moves fast. We release them deliberately and in order, lower the stack, and only then start on the frame. That’s the main reason a multi-station gym takes longer than its size suggests, and the reason it shouldn’t be cut apart by somebody in a hurry.
Racks and Smith machines are the other half of this work: tall, heavy steel uprights that are usually anchored or braced, plus a few hundred pounds of plates and bars that go out separately. In a large house — a north-end waterfront property like the homes around Hampton Point, or a converted garage gym anywhere — the whole room tends to go at once.

How we work
Taking Apart a Home Gym in a Newer Brunswick House
Cables first, then the stack, then the frame. The machine comes apart into pieces a person can carry, and the plates and bars go out on their own — strapped down on the truck so nothing shifts on the drive.
Photos of the machine and the way out tell us how many people to bring and how long it will take. A garage gym on the ground floor is quick; a rack and a stack machine in an upstairs room are a longer, more careful carry.
A working machine is worth offering to one of the donation outlets we work with. They decide what they accept, so we don’t promise it.
A home gym in a newer house off Harry Driggers Boulevard, or in a neighborhood on the mainland approach toward the causeway to St. Simons, might be a full rack in the garage, a cable machine in a spare bedroom, or a bonus room of plates and benches. It all comes apart into pieces a person can carry, with the plates going out separately so floors and stairs stay unmarked. Rubber mats, a treadmill, the bench in the corner — if it’s going, it goes on the same truck. A working machine is worth offering to a donation outlet, though they decide what they accept. A few photos of the room and the way out are enough, anywhere from Brunswick to the causeway.
