Exercise
Treadmill removal across the Golden Isles.
Folding, non-folding, commercial-grade. Disassembled at the console hinge so it actually fits through the doorway.
Treadmills are a deceptively heavy piece of equipment. The motor and the deck carry most of the weight, and the console column is awkward without being heavy on its own. Folding treadmills look like they should come apart easily — they don’t, mostly, until you know which bolts to pull.
The trick on most home treadmills is the console hinge. Loosen the right bolts and the console folds flat against the deck, which turns a six-foot-tall piece of equipment into something that fits through a doorway. That’s the move that makes treadmill removal manageable.
Commercial-grade treadmills — the kind that show up in hotel gyms, second-floor home gyms in larger houses, or older rental properties — are heavier and don’t always fold the same way. Two-person standard for any treadmill; three-person occasionally for the larger commercial units.

How we work
How we actually handle it.
Most treadmills come apart at the console hinge — Allen keys, sockets, fold the deck. After that it's a two-person carry. The slow versions are the ones in second-floor home gyms or in basements where the treadmill went down the stairs in pieces and now has to come back up the same way.
We bring the tools. Most home treadmills use standard hex and socket sizes, and we have what we need on the truck. Commercial-grade units sometimes have proprietary hardware — tell us the brand on the call if you have it handy.
The belt and the deck are the heaviest single component on most treadmills. We strap them in the truck so they don't shift. Older treadmills sometimes have rusted hinges — we work them loose carefully rather than forcing the hinge.
Pricing
How pricing works.
Treadmill pricing scales with weight, access, and floor. A folding home treadmill from a ground-floor room is the lightest version. A commercial-grade non-folding treadmill from a second-floor gym is heavier work. Multi-piece exercise-equipment jobs get priced as a load.
