Pricing

How pricing works.

What commercial gym equipment removal costs here. We price by the tier your items fill, starting at $95–$150 for a 1/8 truck; a single item is quoted from a photo so we can confirm the tier before anything is loaded. The number you agree to is the number you pay, and it includes carry-out, the disposal fee and cleanup.

A few machines from a condo fitness room price off the load table. A full gym is quoted as a project from photos, since the amount of iron, the flooring, and the floor the gym is on decide the time. Payment is by any major credit card, check, Venmo or Cash App, handled through our office; commercial account terms may be available for approved customers. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

Part of our Commercial Junk Removal service

Commercial equipment is built to take a beating from strangers all day, which is exactly why it’s hard to move. Selectorized machines carry a few hundred pounds of stacked plates inside a steel frame. Power racks are bolted together from heavy-gauge tube. A commercial treadmill outweighs most home ones by a wide margin. Add the dumbbell racks, the plate trees, the lockers, the platforms and the rubber floor underneath it all, and a gym is one of the heaviest rooms there is to empty.

We take it out piece by piece. Weight stacks come out of the machines before the frames move. Racks and rigs unbolt into sections. Lockers come off the wall in banks. Rubber flooring gets rolled or stacked, and a boxing ring comes apart down to its platform. Steel — and most of a gym is steel — is usually recycled as scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick.

Working cardio and strength equipment can sometimes go on to a second home, and we’ll make a reasonable effort where it makes sense. Whoever takes it decides, so it isn’t promised.

How we work

Commercial Gym Equipment From Brunswick Offices and Storefronts

The question that sets the day is where the gym sits. A ground-floor space with a roll-up door is a straight shot. A second-floor fitness room or a clubhouse gym down a hallway means elevators, stairs and more trips, and every plate has to be carried, not rolled.

If the gym is still in use, we can work around your hours. If it’s closed, the floor can be cleared in one planned job, with a truck, trailers or a dumpster sized to how much steel and rubber is on it.

Whether it’s a fitness room upstairs in an office building on the Gloucester Street corridor or a small gym in a storefront along the Norwich Street corridor, the floor it’s on decides the day. Weight stacks come out before the frames move, racks unbolt into sections, and the rubber flooring rolls or stacks. Steel usually goes to scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick, and working machines get a reasonable try at a second home. If you’re still open, tell us your hours and we’ll work around your members. Businesses across downtown and the rest of Brunswick get the same planned job.
