Need Old Furniture Out of a Jekyll Home or Rental?
Same-Day Furniture Removal on Jekyll Island Often Available — Call or Text
Yes, all of it: sofas, beds, dressers, dining sets, the bench by the door and the quilt rack nobody uses. Worn out, outdated or simply not wanted anymore, the reason is yours, and furniture removal is everyday work for us.
The lifting, the stairs and the tight turns are ours. We come prepared for what’s actually there.
What we handle
What the crew handles
Pieces that won’t clear a doorway come apart. Sectionals come apart at the seams or the manufacturer’s connectors. Recliners come apart at the swivel base. If a piece was built in the room and truly won’t come out whole, we’ll talk it through before any blade comes out.
We pad the floor, keep the corners off the walls on the way out, and sweep up before we leave.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
Jekyll Island
Furniture coming out of island homes and rentals
Most of our work on the island runs through property managers, and furniture is a big part of a turnover: a stained sofa or a tired bedroom set swapped out between guests, unit by unit. Those jobs run on a timeline, so the next check-in is the real deadline and we plan the carry backward from it.
It might be a living room set in a vacation home along Beachview Drive or a bedroom’s worth from a house on the north end near Driftwood Beach. Either way, the photos tell us the floor, the stairs and the doorway, and that’s what decides the carry.
Whatever comes out leaves the island on our truck. Nothing goes behind a building or out to the curb, and a piece someone else could use gets offered for donation when an organization will actually take it.
The work here runs steadily from spring through fall as rental cycles turn over. After a storm, debris and urgent cleanup move to the front of the line across the region, and we’ll tell you honestly where your job stands.

After the pickup
Where the furniture goes
Once it’s off the island we work out where each piece belongs. A sound wood dresser or a lightly used table may find a second home with an organization such as the Boys & Girls Club or Habitat ReStore, which decides for itself what it takes.
Donation centers are not an extension of the landfill, so upholstery that has been used hard usually goes to disposal, and metal frames to scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick.
Pricing
What changes the price
Volume, weight and access: how much room the pieces take on the truck, how heavy they are, and how far it is from the room to where the truck can stop. A sleeper sofa costs more than it looks like it should, because the frame inside is the heavy part. The bridge drive is part of the quote from the start.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
