Who Picks Up Old Furniture on St. Simons Island?
Same-Day Furniture Removal on St. Simons Island Often Available — Call or Text
Yes, we take it: sofas, bedroom sets, dining tables, the heavy solid-wood dresser, the bench by the door and the rack nobody uses. Whole rooms or whole houses at once is normal, and the crew does all of the lifting.
On the island the furniture itself is rarely the hard part. The access path is: an outside staircase, a narrow stairwell with a hard turn at the top, a street with nowhere to leave a truck.

How island furniture jobs usually go
A good share of furniture here comes out of rentals. In summer the calls are swaps between guests: the worn sofa and two bedroom sets out in the morning so the new delivery can come in before the next family arrives. Tell us the check-in time as well as the date, because that is the real deadline, and we plan the truck and the causeway around it.
The other half is family furniture. A living room in Coast Cottages or a dining room in Butler Plantation can hold pieces that have been in place for decades, and some of them were put together in the room before the doorway was the size it is now. We walk the room with you first and agree on what goes and what stays.
Along Sea Island Road and in the island’s older homes, the pace is set by what we’re carrying and what we’re carrying it past. Some of what looks like old furniture deserves a second look, so if a piece might have value or meaning, we set it aside and ask before it goes anywhere.

What we handle
What the crew takes care of
Sectionals come apart at their seams or connectors, and recliners come off at the swivel base. If something truly won’t clear a doorway, we talk it through with you before any blade comes out.
We pad the floor, keep the corners off your walls on the way down the stairs, and sweep up before we leave.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
After the pickup
Where the furniture goes
We figure out the right destination piece by piece. Solid wood, frame furniture and lightly used pieces have the best chance of a second home, and we offer what qualifies to organizations we work with, such as Habitat for Humanity ReStore or the Salvation Army. They decide what they accept, and condition matters.
Upholstery that has been used hard for years usually goes to disposal, and metal frames to recycling where it’s practical. Everything leaves the island on our truck, straight to Brunswick.
Pricing
What changes the price
Furniture is priced on how much room it takes on the truck, how heavy it is and how it gets out: which floor, how tight the stairs are, and how far it is from the door to where the truck can stop. The causeway drive is already inside that number.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
