Only One Item That Needs to Get Off Jekyll Island?

Same-Day Single Item Pickup on Jekyll Island Often Available — Call or Text

One thing is a normal call for us. It might be the mattress a rental can’t use anymore, the recliner that never sold, or the washer that quit the week the new one arrived. Too big for the trash, too heavy for a favor.

You don’t need to move it, empty it or take it apart. It comes out from where it is.

Jekyll Island

One item, one trip across the bridge

Jekyll is small enough that where you are on it matters less than what has to come off it. A sleeper sofa in a condo near Beach Village and a dresser in a house south of the Great Dunes come out the same way: we find a spot for the truck, carry the piece out, and go.

Even one chair means two bridge crossings, and the item leaves the island with us instead of going anywhere on it. We say so plainly when we quote, so the number you hear covers the whole round trip.

Managed rentals turn up a steady trickle of single pieces between guests: a broken bed frame, a stained armchair, a grill the salt finally got to. Give us the window and the photo, and we’ll work inside it.

What we handle

What we take care of

The crew carries it out, loads it and sweeps where it stood.

If your one item is unusually heavy or sits somewhere awkward, like the top of an outside stair, send a photo of it and where it is, and we’ll tell you what it takes.

And if you find a second thing while you wait, or a fifth, it can ride along. You see the updated price before anything extra goes on the truck.

Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

After the pickup

Where it goes

We decide where it goes by what it is and the shape it’s in. A refrigerator or freezer usually goes to SA Recycling in Brunswick, where the refrigerant is recovered as part of their process.

Furniture in good shape may be offered to a donation outlet, which decides whether it can use it, and an appliance with life left is sometimes repaired and passed to a family who needs one.

Whatever is left is disposed of properly once it’s off the island.

Pricing

What sets the price for one item

For a single piece, it comes down to what it is and where it sits. A chair from a ground-floor porch is a quick carry; a sleeper sofa from an upper-floor condo or a fridge down a flight of stairs takes more time and more hands. The trip back over the bridge is part of every Jekyll number, not an add-on.

Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
