Just One Item You Need Gone on St. Simons Island?
Same-Day Single Item Pickup on St. Simons Island Often Available — Call or Text
Will we come out for one item? Yes. Often it isn’t a cleanout at all: it’s the sofa that didn’t sell, the fridge that died the week the new one arrived, the mattress leaning in the hall since the move. One thing, too big for the bin and too heavy for a pickup truck and a favor.
You don’t need to move it, empty it or take it apart. We carry it out from where it sits.
What we handle
How it works
A photo of the item and where it sits — upstairs bedroom, back porch, garage, curb — tells us what the carry looks like.
If you look around while you wait and find a second thing, or a fifth, it can go on the same trip, and you’ll see the updated price before anything extra is loaded.
If your one item is unusually heavy or tucked somewhere hard to reach, send a photo of it and where it is, and we’ll tell you what it takes.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
St. Simons Island
One item on the island
On St. Simons, one item is often one item in a condo: a sleeper sofa on the third floor, a recliner at the far end of a long hallway. Elevators, narrow access and association requirements can shape how it comes out, so we work those out with you before we come rather than at the door.
In a house mid-island in Barnes Plantation or in one of the residential neighborhoods of Sea Palms West, the single item might be a dresser from an upstairs bedroom or an old grill on the back porch. The carry changes from house to house; the answer doesn’t.
One item still makes the whole trip over the causeway and back, and summer weekends stretch it. That time is part of the price from the start, and it’s why adding a few more things to the same trip often makes sense.
People here notice how a crew carries itself. For one item that means watching the walls and door frames on the way out, and sweeping the floor where it stood before we go.

After the pickup
Where it goes
We figure out where your one item should go from what it is and the shape it’s in, and it comes straight off the island to Brunswick.
A refrigerator or freezer usually goes to SA Recycling in Brunswick, where the refrigerant is recovered as part of their process.
Furniture in good shape may be offered to a donation outlet, which decides whether it can take it, and an appliance with life left in it is sometimes repaired and given to a family who needs one.
Anything else goes where its material points, with disposal for whatever is left.
Pricing
What changes the price
What it is and where it sits. A recliner from a ground-floor den is a quick carry; a sleeper sofa from a third-floor condo or a full-size fridge down an outside stair takes more time and more hands. The same pickup minimum applies on the island as everywhere else we work.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
