Boat That Hasn’t Moved in Years Behind a St. Marys House?
Call or Text for the Next Available Boat Removal Opening in St. Marys
Yes, we take boats: fiberglass bowriders, jon boats, bass boats, pontoons, small sailboats, cabin cruisers and jet skis two to a trailer. By the time somebody calls, most of them haven’t moved in years.
You’ve already made the hard call about whether it was worth fixing. That decision is yours. Ours is the part that comes after it.
St. Marys
Boats on the water side of town
Coastal Georgia is hard on boats that sit. Out at Point Peter the properties run out toward the water and the marsh, which makes it its own geography, nothing like the middle of town. Sun, humidity, rain and salt air work on everything at once out there, from the upholstery to the trailer.
Up in the Crooked River area north of town, Camden spreads out and gets more coastal, and an old boat parked at the back of a lot can go untouched season after season. From your photos we work out how close equipment can get, what the ground is like and whether the trailer still rolls.
St. Marys is about fifty minutes from Brunswick, a real drive but a routine one, and it goes into the price up front. A boat takes more planning than a couch call, so we pick a day the route makes sense and give you a realistic arrival window.
What we haul
Boats we take
These are examples. If yours looks nothing like them, send a picture anyway.
- Fiberglass bowriders and runabouts
- Jon boats, skiffs and aluminum fishing boats
- Bass boats
- Pontoon boats, decking and all
- Small sailboats
- Cabin cruisers and cuddy cabins
- Jet skis, often two to a trailer
- Boat trailers, with or without a boat
What we handle
How the boat leaves
A sound hull that equipment can get beside goes onto the truck in one piece. A soft transom, a rotten deck or a spot too tight to reach means it gets cut down where it sits and leaves in sections.
No trailer, or one that can’t be trusted, is often exactly why people call, and it doesn’t stop the job. A trailer can go with the boat or by itself, and we look at boat, motor and trailer as one complete job.
The fiberglass, wood, hardware and debris our own work makes get picked up and leave with the boat, so the spot looks like a boat was removed, not like one was demolished there.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
Pricing
What changes the price
We price the actual boat from your photos. A waterlogged hull weighs nothing like the brochure said, and access and condition drive the price far more than length does: a rotten twenty-four-footer sitting where we can get equipment to it can be a simpler job than a nineteen-foot boat trapped behind a house.
Soft ground, a narrow gate or low limbs over the route go into that number, along with the drive. Once we agree on it, that price is the price unless you add to the job.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
After the pickup
Where it goes
Fiberglass is the honest complication. A hull takes far more than a single trip to the landfill, and we’ve developed legitimate downstream processes for dismantled fiberglass.
Aluminum hulls, trailer frames and other metal that can realistically be separated go to scrap recycling.
Wood and composite that have rotted past saving go to disposal.
