Who Takes E-Waste Like Old TVs and Computers on St. Simons Island?
Same-Day E-Waste Recycling on St. Simons Island Often Available — Call or Text
Yes. A tube TV it takes two people to wrestle, a stack of monitors, a printer, a stereo, a crate of chargers — we carry it out from where it is, with no need to drag anything to the driveway first.
If a computer or phone still holds files, we’ll work around your timing for wiping it, then haul the hardware.

Electronics on the island
In a vacation rental, a cracked screen or a set that quit is exactly the kind of damaged item that has to leave between guests. From April through September we plan those pickups around the turnover window, so the old TV is out before anyone checks in.
An office along Demere retiring monitors, towers and a copier is mostly a parking question: where the truck can stop, for how long, and how quickly the equipment moves from the door to it. We settle that ahead of the day so our staging doesn’t crowd the businesses next door.
The electronics might be in a home in Epworth Acres or in a house out at Gascoigne Bluff. In a house with real history, an old console stereo or record player deserves a second look before it’s loaded, and if something might matter, we ask you first.

What we handle
What we take care of
Old electronics are clumsy more than heavy. A console set coming down an outside stair or out of an upstairs bedroom gets the crew, dollies and straps it needs, and you don’t lift anything.
When the TVs are part of a bigger clear-out, we sort as we load, so the electronics are kept apart from the furniture and household junk.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
After the pickup
Where it goes
We figure out the right destination for each piece: an electronics recycling channel when it’s practical, disposal when it isn’t. We don’t call a landfill trip recycling.
Working electronics in good shape can sometimes be offered to donation outlets we work with, and they decide what they accept.
The loads come straight off the island to Brunswick, where metal-heavy pieces and electronics within SA Recycling’s scope often end up at SA Recycling.
Pricing
What changes the price
Count and size. A few small devices make a light load and a garage of old sets and office gear makes a bigger one; tube and rear-projection TVs cost more to place than a flat-screen of the same size because of the leaded glass.
A second-floor unit, a building with an elevator, or staging near Demere at a busy hour all add time.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
