Is a Big Old Wall Unit Taking Over a Room in Your St. Simons Home?
Same-Day Entertainment Center Removal on St. Simons Often Available — Call or Text
Yes, we take entertainment centers, from a single TV cabinet to a three-tower wall unit with a bridge across the top. An entertainment center is rarely a single piece, and most were assembled right where they stand, so the job starts in the room with a screwdriver, not at the door with a dolly.
The old TV that sat in the middle can go too. We can take the TV in the same trip.
What we handle
What we take care of
Plenty of these are anchored — tip-over straps or L-brackets screwed into the studs. We back those screws out before anything lifts, and we don’t leave you with a bracket still hanging on the wall after the cabinet is gone.
Older particleboard units are the fragile ones: lifted wrong, the back panel flexes, the cam-lock joints let go, and a corner crumbles in your hands. So we take the towers and the bridge apart and carry clean sections rather than wrestling a sagging full piece down a hallway.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

Wall units in island condos and homes
In a condo along the Demere corridor, the hard part of a wall unit is rarely the wall unit. It’s where the truck can stop, how long it can stay, and how the pieces get from the elevator to the curb without filling a hallway or a lobby. We work that out with you or the building before the day, and because the unit comes down in sections, staging stays small and tidy.
In a house the questions change. It might be a media wall in a den over in St. Clair or a TV armoire in a family room at Fifty Oaks. Either way we look at the room, the hallway and the stairs before deciding how the unit comes apart.
In July the causeway can stretch a short job into a long afternoon, and that is planned into the day and the estimate, not discovered on the bridge.

Pricing
What changes the price
Entertainment-center pricing tracks the size of the unit, how it’s built, and what it takes to get it out. A single cabinet on a ground floor is the light end. A full wall system that’s anchored, bridged and upstairs is as much disassembly as carrying, and a heavy old TV adds hands.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
After the pickup
Where it goes
We figure out the right destination for each piece once it’s apart. Solid-wood pieces in good shape have a better shot than older particleboard units, and a sound cabinet may be worth offering to an organization we work with, such as the Salvation Army or Habitat for Humanity ReStore; they decide what they accept.
Worn particleboard, broken glass doors and an old TV are each handled by what they are made of, and the load comes straight off the island to Brunswick.
