Need a Couch Carried Down and Off St. Simons Island?
Same-Day Couch Removal on St. Simons Island Often Available — Call or Text
Yes, we’ll take your couch, whatever shape it’s in. Stained, sagging, sun-faded, peeling bonded leather after a few humid summers, or a pet’s favorite spot for a decade: if it isn’t hazardous, it goes on the truck, and nobody needs to apologize for it.
What takes thought on the island is the way out. A lot of beach houses have the living room upstairs because of flood codes, so the sofa went up an outside staircase when it arrived and comes back down the same way.
St. Simons Island
Getting a sofa out of an island house
Say the couch is upstairs in one of the beach cottages and vacation homes of East Beach. The carry is down an exterior stair, turned on end at the landing, and the harder part is often the street: parking and where the trailer sits are part of the job there. We bring the smaller truck when the street calls for it rather than block it.
A couch in a living room up in Harrington is a different carry. Up toward the north end the properties spread out and the walk from the door to where the truck can sit gets longer, so we budget the time and the hands for it. Anywhere on the island, an older front door framed to 1960s dimensions is usually the moment a sectional comes apart in the room.
In the rental months a lot of sofas leave between guests, swapped for a new one the same afternoon. Give us the check-in time with the photo, and the causeway traffic and the delivery truck get planned around it.
What we handle
What we take care of
Sleepers are the heavy ones: the internal frame and spring assembly put them past two hundred pounds before the cushions, and we come with the crew and straps to match. Sectionals separate at their seams or connectors, and recliners come off the swivel base.
A mold-heavy couch gets wrapped tight before it moves, with coverings down on the path out so the rest of the house stays clean. If bedbugs are a possibility, please tell us before we arrive.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

Pricing
What changes the price
Size, weight and where the couch sits. A loveseat from a ground-floor room is the light end; a leather sectional or a sleeper coming down an outside staircase is the heavy end. Pet hair doesn’t add anything.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
After the pickup
Where the couch goes
We figure out the right destination for each couch. Realistically about one in five is clean and solid enough that someone would want it, and those get offered to organizations we work with, which decide what they accept.
The rest go to proper disposal. Either way it comes off the island and straight into Brunswick, and we’ll tell you on site which way yours is headed.
