Need a Worn-Out Grill Off a St. Simons Deck Before the Next Guests?
Same-Day Grill & Smoker Removal on St. Simons Often Available — Call or Text
Yes, we take it. Brand and condition make no difference: a grill that has rusted through, faded in the sun or lost a wheel still leaves with us. A charcoal kettle usually rolls off on a dolly in one piece, while a smoker, with far more steel in it, can mean extra hands more often than not.
St. Simons Island
Grills on island decks and patios
Plenty of island grills belong to rental properties, and when one finally gives out, the swap tends to fall between guests. From April through September those turnovers come one after another, so tell us the check-in time along with the photo and we’ll plan the pickup around the clean, not just the date.
It might be a smoker at the back of a lot in Frederica, or a gas grill on a deck at one of the north-end waterfront properties at Hampton Point.
Up the north end, properties spread out and the walk from a back deck to the truck can be a long one, sometimes across soft ground. A kettle grill barely notices. A heavy offset smoker does, and that’s where extra hands and the dolly earn their keep, with the route planned from your photos.
Whatever the grill, it rides back over the causeway with us, and that drive is counted in the quote from the start rather than tacked on afterward. A grill rarely needs a trip of its own, either: the patio set or the rest of a deck refresh can share it.
What we handle
How the grill comes out
Half a bag of old charcoal in the bottom, ash, grease buildup: we deal with all of it on site, so nothing needs scrubbing before we get there.
A grill set into a stone or stucco island is its own job. The grill itself comes out with us, and the surround can be quoted too, from a few photos of how it’s built.
Carts, side burners and accessory tables go with the grill they came with.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

Pricing
What changes the price
Weight, type and access set it. A small charcoal grill off a ground-level patio is the light end; a big smoker at the far edge of a north-end lot, or a grill coming down an outside stair from a raised deck, takes more work.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
After the pickup
Where it goes
We figure out the right destination for each grill. Most are steel, so the body, grates and frame usually go to scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick, rather than the landfill.
The load comes straight off the island to Brunswick, with no transfer stop in between.
Covers, wooden side shelves and other mixed parts are sorted by what they’re made of and handled accordingly.
