Rusted-Out Grill on a Jekyll Deck That Needs to Go?

Same-Day Grill & Smoker Removal on Jekyll Island Often Available — Call or Text

Yes, any of them. The grill comes with us, regardless of brand or condition, so one that has rusted through or lost a wheel is still an easy yes. A smoker just means more steel, and smokers can mean extra hands more often than not.

Old charcoal, ash, or grease buildup we’ll handle on site, so nothing needs scrubbing first.

Jekyll Island

Grills on the island

If the grill belongs to a managed rental, the swap has to fit between guests. Property managers here schedule work around guest windows that stay fairly steady from spring through fall, so send the check-in time with the photo and the old grill is gone before the next family is on the deck.

On the north end, a grill might sit on the deck of a house near North Beach or out toward Driftwood Beach. Sun and salt air take their toll on anything left outside, and a grill that has sat out for years can come apart on the way to the truck. That’s fine; the pieces come too.

Whatever the grill, it rides back over the bridge on our truck. Nothing is left beside the house or at the curb, and if the patio set or the rest of a deck refresh is going too, it shares the same trip.

What we handle

What we take care of

A kettle grill usually comes off the deck or patio in one piece on a dolly. A smoker carries more steel, so it can mean extra hands and a planned path, especially down an outside stair from a raised deck.

Built-in BBQ islands are their own job. The grill comes out with us, and the stone or stucco around it can be quoted separately if it’s going too; send us a few photos and tell us where it is, and we’ll tell you what it takes.

After the pickup

Where an old grill goes

Once it’s off the island, a grill is mostly a question of metal: the body, grates and frame usually go for scrap, often to SA Recycling in Brunswick, rather than the landfill.

Covers, wooden side shelves and plastic parts are sorted by material and sent where they belong.

Pricing

What changes the price

Grill pricing scales with weight, type, and access. A small charcoal grill off a ground-level patio is the light end; a heavy smoker coming down from a raised deck is more work, and a built-in island is quoted on its own. The bridge crossings are counted from the start.

Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
