Inherited a House on St. Simons and Live Somewhere Else?
Same-Day Inherited Home Cleanout on St. Simons Often Available — Call or Text
Yes, and it works from a distance. When a house on the coast becomes yours, it arrives bundled with a legal process, a property to maintain, siblings with opinions and decades of belongings someone has to decide about. Clearing it is the smallest part of all that, and it’s the part we can take off your hands.
What we handle
What we take care of
One person directs and we coordinate with them — an executor, the sibling who stayed local, or the attorney handling the file — so the crew is never caught between heirs. Nothing needs preparing: a note on a door or tape on a piece marks what stays, and a room nobody is ready to open simply waits for a second visit.
When the estate can clear the house is a question for your attorney. We schedule around that answer, and the walkthrough and the number can be settled before then.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
St. Simons Island
Inherited houses on the island
When the job is run from far away, we sort out access with you or whoever looks after the house: keys or a lockbox code — something we use all the time — whether the power is still on, and, if the house is in a gated community, a gate code or an access window that covers every day we’ll be there, not only the first. A minute on the phone settles it.
The house might be in Oak Grove or over in Kings Terrace. Close to the Village, parking is scarce and the streets crowd in season, so the truck’s spot and the timing are worked out before anything comes out of the house.
Older island houses often hold things with history behind them, and an inherited one is where they surface — a drawer of letters, a framed print, a shoebox of photographs in the hall closet. None of it goes on the truck on our judgment. It’s kept apart and brought to whoever is directing the estate.
If the house has been rented out, the April-to-September calendar may already hold bookings. Give us the dates and the clearing fits between them.

After the pickup
Where it goes
We figure out the right destination for each thing after the family’s keepers are separated. Working appliances and usable furniture may go to an organization we work with, such as Habitat ReStore or Goodwill, which decides what it accepts.
A refrigerator that has quit goes through the appropriate refrigerant recycling channel, often SA Recycling in Brunswick; one that still runs sometimes gets an inexpensive repair and ends up with a family who needs it.
Any donation receipt comes from the receiving organization, not from us. The rest is routed by material and leaves the island for Brunswick.
Pricing
What changes the price
Volume, access and time on site. A house the family has already sorted is a lighter job than one nobody has touched; stairs, the attic and the shed out back are the rest of the number, and a clearing that takes more than a day is priced that way.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
