Two Dead Jet Skis Taking Up the Driveway on St. Simons?
Call or Text for the Next Available Jet Ski & PWC Removal Opening on St. Simons
Yes. Personal watercraft arrive in twos and tend to quit in twos, often within a season of each other: an older two-stroke that won’t turn over, a seat the sun split open, a hull gone chalky. When fixing both would cost more than the pair is worth, we take both skis and the trailer under them in one trip.
St. Simons Island
Jet skis on the island
On St. Simons a pair usually sits within sight of the water — on a dual trailer in a driveway down in Harrington Landing or in a garage among the north-end waterfront properties at Hampton Point.
Closer to the beach, the trailer sets the plan more than the skis do. The streets are tight and full of vacation rentals, and parking, access and where a truck and trailer can sit are part of the job there. We bring the smaller truck when the street calls for it rather than box in a neighbor on a busy weekend.
Skis get the most use in the warm months, which is also when the island is busiest. Rental turnovers run heavy from April through September and the causeway backs up on weekends, so we do the planning over photos instead of in your driveway.
Still in the water or tied at a dock? Every boat is different. Send us some photos and the location, and we’ll take a look and tell you what it takes.

What we handle
How the skis come out
If the trailer still rolls, both skis and the trailer load as one. If the skis are on blocks in a garage, or the trailer’s tires gave out long ago, each ski moves on its own with the right equipment and the trailer follows. They’re denser than they look — a fiberglass shell wrapped around an engine and a pump — so nobody tries to muscle one by hand.
If there’s old gas aboard or a dead battery under a seat, say so with the pictures, and anything special gets sorted out with you when we quote.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
After the pickup
After they leave
We figure out the right destination for each piece, based on what it is and the shape it’s in, and the load heads straight off the island to Brunswick.
Fiberglass hulls are the complicated part. Getting rid of fiberglass properly is far more complex than landfilling a hull, and we have developed legitimate downstream processes for dismantled fiberglass.
Trailer steel is usually recycled as scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick.
Pricing
What moves the price
One ski takes a small share of the truck; a pair on its trailer takes more. After that it comes down to whether the trailer will roll, how far it sits from where we can park, and the drive over the causeway, which is part of the number from the start.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
