Got an Old Boat on Your St. Simons Property That Has to Go?
Call or Text for the Next Available Boat Removal Opening on St. Simons Island
Yes, we remove boats, including the one that hasn’t moved in years under whatever is left of a tarp that blew off five summers ago. Coastal Georgia is hard on boats that sit: decks go soft, wiring corrodes and hardware rusts into place.
Size alone doesn’t decide the job. Access and condition matter far more than length, and we look at every boat on its own terms.
St. Simons Island
Boats on island properties
The boat might be on a trailer beside a house in Harrington Landing or behind the shed at a home in Black Banks. If it’s still in the water, tied to a dock or settled in the marsh, that’s a call to make too. Every boat is different. Send us some photos and the location, and we’ll take a look and tell you what it takes.
Up toward the north end the properties spread out, some ground is soft, and the walk from the boat to where the equipment can stand gets long. After years in one spot the trailer tires have often sunk into the dirt. We work out the route from your photos and plan around what a photo can’t show: a narrow gate, a septic field, soft ground, irrigation lines or low limbs over the way out.
On the larger properties, with longer driveways and finished yards, the pace is set by what we’re moving and what we’re moving it past. Then the hull crosses the causeway, where summer and weekend traffic add time at both ends, so a boat gets a planned date rather than a rushed one, and a few days’ notice beats none.

What we handle
What we work out for you
Some boats leave whole, lifted and hauled in one piece. When the hull’s condition or the access rules that out, we break it down on site and take it in pieces. No trailer is fine; a missing or untrustworthy trailer is often exactly why somebody calls.
Owners tend to remember what the boat weighed when it was new, and a hull that has soaked for years weighs nothing like that, so we size the job from the photos. When it comes apart on site, the goal is that the spot looks like a boat was removed, not like a boat was demolished there.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
After the pickup
Where it goes
We figure out the right destination for each part of the boat. Fiberglass disposal is far more complex than landfilling a hull, and we’ve developed legitimate downstream processes for dismantled fiberglass.
Metal that can realistically be separated usually goes into a recycling stream, such as scrap at SA Recycling in Brunswick, and rotten wood and composite go to disposal. The whole load leaves the island for Brunswick.
Pricing
What changes the price
We price the actual boat: its size, its condition, whether we can get equipment near it, and whether it leaves whole or in pieces. The drive on and off the island is priced into the estimate up front rather than added at the end.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
